Chronic non-atrophic gastritis is the most common type of chronic gastritis. Even if treated with current standard pharmacotherapy, the efficacy is not very satisfactory due to many factors. Traditional Chinese Medicine decoctions are increasingly used in the treatment of chronic gastritis, and many studies have shown that Xiangsha Liujunzi decoction is effective and safe in the treatment of chronic non-atrophic gastritis. However, it is controversy if Xiangsha Liujunzi decoction can provide an evidence-based clinical efficacy and safety in the treatment of chronic non-atrophic gastritis. ⋯ Identifier: DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/TX27U (https://osf.io/tx27u/).

Effect of education and muscle relaxation program on anxiety, depression and care burden in caregivers of acute stroke survivors: A randomized, controlled study.
This study intended to discover the effect of education and muscle relaxation (EMR) program on anxiety, depression and care burden among caregivers of acute stroke survivors. This randomized, controlled study enrolled a total of 110 caregivers of first-ever acute stroke patients, and randomly assigned to EMR (N = 55) and control (N = 55) groups. The caregivers in the EMR group received 12-month health education and progressive muscle relaxation, and those in control group were provided common rehabilitation advices. ⋯ Furthermore, HADS-depression score was similar at M0 and M3 but was decreased at M6 and M12 in EMR group compared with control group, however, there was no difference of depression rate and severity between the 2 groups at each time point. Moreover, Zarit Caregiver Burden Scale score was similar at M0 and M3, but was decreased at M6 and M12; meanwhile, degree of care burden was similar at M0, M3 and M6, but was reduced at M12 in EMR group compared to control group. EMR program decreases anxiety, depression and care burden in caregivers of acute stroke survivors, suggesting its potential in improving mental health and further promoting quality of lives in these caregivers.

Lactic dehydrogenase-lymphocyte ratio for predicting prognosis of severe COVID-19.
To develop a useful score for predicting the prognosis of severe corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients. We retrospectively analyzed patients with severe COVID-19 who were admitted from February 10, 2020 to April 5, 2020. First, all patients were randomly assigned to a training cohort or a validation cohort. ⋯ Multivariate analysis showed that only LLR >345 was an independent risk factor for prognosis (odds ratio [OR] = 9.176, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 2.674-31.487, P < .001). Lastly, we confirmed that LLR was also an independent risk factor for prognosis in severe COVID-19 patients in the validation cohort where the AUC was 0.857 (95% CI: 0.718-0.997). LLR is an accurate predictive score for poor prognosis of severe COVID-19 patients.

Infertility has affected millions of couples aged 15 to 44 years worldwide. Recently, some studies suggest that abnormal semen quality is the main cause of male infertility and asthenozoospermia accounts for 19% of the infertility of men. The situation has brought a huge burden to the patient with asthenozoospermia and society. Acupuncture is a part of traditional Chinese medicine. Electroacupuncture (EA) has gained in popularity. Although a positive effect of manual acupuncture and EA on sperm parameters has been documented in several studies, there still a lack of more solid evidence. We hope to provide a convincing study for EA. ⋯ INPLASY2020100071.

Survival rate after acute myocardial infarction in patients treated with percutaneous coronary intervention within the left main coronary artery according to time of admission.
The relationship regarding time of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and clinical outcomes in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) treated within the left main coronary artery (LMCA) is less investigated compared to the overall group of patients with AMI. Therefore, we aimed to assess the relationship between time of PCI (day- vs night-time) and overall mortality rate in patients treated due to AMI within the LMCA. This cross-sectional study included 443,805 AMI patients hospitalized between 2006 and 2018 enrolled in the Polish Registry of Acute Coronary Syndromes. ⋯ Patients treated during night-time in comparison to the day-time are related to higher in-hospital, 30-day and 12-month mortality. This is probably largely a consequence that the night-time, in comparison to the day-time, of treatment of patients with AMI with PCI within the LMCA is and indicator of higher comorbidity and clinical acuity of patients undergoing therapy. Therefore, the night-time was not found to be an independent predictor of greater mortality rate during the 12-months follow-up period.
