Brachial neuritis: an under-recognized cause of upper extremity paresis after cervical decompression surgery.
Case series. ⋯ Brachial neuritis appears to be an under-recognized cause of delayed-onset shoulder pain associated with upper extremity weakness that develops as a consequence of the stress of surgery rather than as a complication of surgical technique.

Delayed symptomatic presentation of epidural hematoma after epidural catheter anesthesia: case report.
The authors present a case report of a 70-year-old woman who presented with delayed symptoms of epidural hematoma after epidural catheter anesthesia. ⋯ In the absence of focal neurologic symptoms, conservative therapy and observation are appropriate.

A case of acquired lumbar spondylolysis following lumbar disc arthroplasty L5-S1 in an 40-year-old woman and review of the literature. ⋯ Spine surgeons should be aware of the possibility of lumbar disc arthroplasty to induce acquired spondylolysis impairing good clinical results.
