Melioidosis is an infection caused by Burkholderia pseudomallei. It is an important human pathogen in the tropical area. ⋯ Septic arthritis and prostatic abscess are rare but well-recognized forms of the disease. Herein we report a case of melioidosis presenting with a rare combination of septic arthritis, prostatic abscess, and septicemia.
