Diagnostic accuracy of point-of-care ultrasonography for intussusception in children: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Ileocolic intussusception can be challenging to diagnose due to vague complaints, but rapid diagnosis and treatment can help prevent morbidity and mortality. Prior research has focused on radiologic ultrasound, with more recent studies focusing on point-of-care ultrasonography (POCUS). This systematic review and meta-analysis assesses the diagnostic accuracy of POCUS for children with suspected ileocolic intussusception. ⋯ POCUS has excellent diagnostic accuracy for intussusception in children presenting to the emergency department.

Review Comparative Study
Comparison of tenecteplase versus alteplase in STEMI patients treated with ticagrelor: A cross-sectional study.
The effectiveness and safety of administration of ticagrelor simultaneously with fibrinolytic agents in STEMI patients remain unclear. ⋯ The administration of tenecteplase in STEMI patients who received a loading dose with ticagrelor resulted in a significant reduction in MACE compared to alteplase. Larger multi-center studies are warranted to investigate the effect of tenecteplase treatment on clinical results.

Effectiveness of yoga therapy for migraine treatment: A meta-analysis of randomized controlled studies.
Yoga therapy may have some potential in treating migraine, and thus this meta-analysis aims to explore the efficacy of yoga therapy for patients with migraine. ⋯ Yoga therapy may be effective to treat migraine patients, but it should be recommended with caution because of heterogeneity.

Randomized Controlled Trial
Dexamethasone and ketorolac compare with ketorolac alone in acute renal colic: A randomized clinical trial.
Multidrug pain control can be beneficial in relieving pain and limiting narcotic use in renal colic. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of adding dexamethasone to ketorolac on pain control in acute renal colic. ⋯ In comparison with the patients who just received ketorolac, adding dexamethasone provided improved pain control after 30 min of therapy. Furthermore, it decreased opioid requirements and decreased an antiemetic need at the end of the study. Dexamethasone should be considered an important multimodal adjunct for controlling pain and nausea in renal colic.

Describe a dose rounding strategy for rabies immune globulin (RIG) administration. ⋯ RIG dose rounding to the nearest vial size is associated with cost savings and prevention of wasting RIG IU. There was no association with re-presentation to the ED or PCP with RIG related issues within 7 days from administration.
