Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study
Improving patient-centredness in partnership with female patients: a cluster RCT in fertility care.
What is the effect of a multifaceted intervention with participation of patients on improvement of patient-centredness in fertility care? ⋯ This work was supported by Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD), The Netherlands. There are no competing interests.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
Low-dose human menopausal gonadotrophin versus clomiphene citrate in subfertile couples treated with intrauterine insemination: a randomized controlled trial.
Can controlled ovarian stimulation with low-dose human menopausal gonadotrophin (hMG) improve the clinical pregnancy rate when compared with ovarian stimulation with clomiphene citrate (CC) in an intrauterine insemination (IUI) programme for subfertile couples? ⋯ T.M.D. and K.P. were supported by the Clinical Research Foundation of UZ Leuven, Belgium. This study was also supported by the Ferring company (Copenhagen, Denmark) which provide free medication (Menopur) required for the group of patients who were randomized in the hMG COS group. The Ferring company was not involved in the study design, data analysis, writing and submission of the paper.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
Corifollitropin alfa compared with follitropin beta in poor responders undergoing ICSI: a randomized controlled trial.
Does substituting 150 µg corifollitropin alfa for 450 IU follitropin beta during the first 7 days of ovarian stimulation in proven poor responders, result in retrieval of a non-inferior number (<1.5 fewer) of cumulus oocyte complexes (COCs)? ⋯ Corifollitropin alfa simplifies IVF treatment because it is administered in a GnRH antagonist protocol and replaces seven daily FSH injections with a single one of a long acting FSH without compromising the outcome. It could greatly reduce the burden of treatment for poor responders and this deserves further investigation.

The effect of endometrial injury on ongoing pregnancy rate in unselected subfertile women undergoing in vitro fertilization: a randomized controlled trial.
Does endometrial injury in the cycle preceding ovarian stimulation for in vitro fertilization (IVF) improve the ongoing pregnancy rate in unselected subfertile women? ⋯ The study was supported by the Small Project Funding 201309176012 of the Committee on Research and Conference Grants, University of Hong Kong. The authors have nothing to disclose.

Randomized Controlled Trial
The impact of a self-administered coping intervention on emotional well-being in women awaiting the outcome of IVF treatment: a randomized controlled trial.
What is the effect of the positive reappraisal coping intervention (PRCI) on anxiety in women awaiting the outcome of an IVF/ICSI cycle? ⋯ The PRCI was shown to help women reinterpret the demands of the waiting period in a more positive way. These results are consistent with previous studies showing that positive reappraisal coping is a useful strategy for unpredictable and uncontrollable situations represented by a medical waiting period. This simple low cost self-help coping intervention increases positive affect during the waiting period in an IVF/ICSI treatment. STUDY FUNDING/COMPETENT INTEREST(S): The Women and Baby Division of the University Medical Centre Utrecht funded the study. The authors have no conflicting interest(s).
