Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study Pragmatic Clinical TrialClinical and cost effectiveness of memory rehabilitation following traumatic brain injury: a pragmatic cluster randomized controlled trial.
To evaluate the clinical and cost effectiveness of a group-based memory rehabilitation programme for people with traumatic brain injury. ⋯ This memory rehabilitation programme did not lead to reduced forgetting in daily life for a heterogeneous sample of people with traumatic brain injury. Further research will need to examine who benefits most from such interventions.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyTraditional and augmented reality mirror therapy for patients with chronic phantom limb pain (PACT study): results of a three-group, multicentre single-blind randomized controlled trial.
To compare the effects of traditional mirror therapy (MT), a patient-centred teletreatment (PACT) and sensomotor exercises without a mirror on phantom limb pain (PLP). ⋯ Traditional MT over four weeks was not more effective than sensomotor exercises without a mirror in reducing PLP, although significant effects were suggested in some subgroups.

Multicenter Study Comparative StudyOccurrence and predictive factors of heterotopic ossification in severe acquired brain injured patients during rehabilitation stay: cross-sectional survey.
To report occurrence and identify patient's features and risk factors of heterotopic ossifications in patients with severe acquired brain injury in intensive rehabilitation centres. ⋯ Occurrence of heterotopic ossifications is frequent in patients with severe traumatic and non-traumatic brain-injury in rehabilitation centres. Our study confirms male gender, young age, paroxysmal sympathetic hyperactivity, spasticity, longer duration of coma and ventilation and longer interval between brain injury onset and admission to rehabilitation centre as possible risk factors. Further studies are necessary to investigate the role of early appropriate rehabilitation pathways to reduce occurrence of heterotopic ossifications.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudySafety and efficacy of letibotulinumtoxinA(BOTULAX®) in treatment of post stroke upper limb spasticity: a randomized, double blind, multi-center, phase III clinical trial.
To investigate a new botulinum neurotoxin type A, termed letibotulinumtoxinA(Botulax®) and compare its efficacy and safety for post-stroke upper limb spasticity with that of onabotulinumtoxinA(Botox®). ⋯ The efficacy and safety of Botulax were comparable with those of Botox in treatment of post-stoke upper limb spasticity.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyThe impact of cardiac arrest on the long-term wellbeing and caregiver burden of family caregivers: a prospective cohort study.
The purpose was to gain insight in the functioning of caregivers of cardiac arrest survivors at 12 months after a cardiac arrest. Secondly, the course of the wellbeing of the caregivers during the first year was studied. Finally, factors that are associated with a higher care burden at 12 months after the cardiac arrest were investigated. ⋯ Overall wellbeing of the caregivers improves during the first year up to normal levels, but caregivers with emotional problems or perceived cognitive problems at 12 months are at risk for developing a higher care burden.
