To report a rare case of maculopapular rash on the scalp in a patient with Mediterranean spotted fever (MSF). ⋯ The rash on the scalp described in this report enriches our knowledge on the clinical characteristics of MSF.

To present a case of relapsing and resistant Sweet's syndrome that developed during pregnancy together with an onset of Crohn's disease, showing complete resolution with the use of infliximab. ⋯ The "off-label" use of infliximab is beneficial for relapsing and resistant Sweet's syndrome.

To report the first case in the literature of a primary large-cell undifferentiated carcinoma (LCUC) of the ureter with a very aggressive behavior and dismal prognosis. ⋯ LCUC of the ureter is an aggressive tumor with a high proliferation index. Patients might be diagnosed at an advanced stage. LCUC must be considered in the differential diagnosis of urinary tract pathologies.

This study aims to investigate the clinical effect of dexmedetomidine (DEX) combined with low concentrations of ropivacaine in ultrasound-guided continuous fem-oral nerve block for postoperative analgesia in elderly patients with total knee arthroplasty (TKA). ⋯ X.-Y.Z. and E.-F.Z. have contributed equally to this research.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effectiveness of multilevel Botulinum Toxin A (BTX-A) injection, as part of an integrated approach, for the treatment of spasticity in non-ambulatory young children with diplegic cerebral palsy (CP). ⋯ Multilevel BTX-A injection, as part of an integrated approach, can be used for focal treatment of spasticity, especially of hamstring and gastrocnemius muscles, in non-ambulatory young children with CP GMFCS level IV.
