Can Collagenase Be Used in the Treatment of Adhesive Capsulitis?
The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of subacromial injections of collagenase and corticosteroid in rats with experimentally induced adhesive capsulitis. ⋯ We observed that subacromial injections of collagenase Clostridium histolyticum effectively treated adhesive capsulitis. The results suggest that this treatment could be considered for use in patients with an intact rotator cuff.

Impact of Dual versus Single Antiplatelet Therapy on Major Cardiovascular Outcomes in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome in the Arabian Gulf.
To evaluate the association of dual versus single antiplatelet therapy with major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) in the Arabian Gulf. ⋯ DAPT, compared to aspirin therapy alone, was generally associated with better CV outcomes after an ACS event. However, DAPT was adversely associated with increased risk of stroke/TIA in ACS patients in the Arabian Gulf.

The principles of etiology and natural history of disease are essential to recognizing opportunities for prevention across the illness spectrum. They have a bearing on how illness is experienced, how differently it can be perceived at the time of first contact with the health system, and how it may appear at later stages. ⋯ The distinction between incidence effects and treatment effects of prevention is explored. This review also examines the differing roles of language in health science and public communication, aspects of disease classification, related issues in patient-centered care, the prevention paradox, and integrated models of disease prevention.
