Effectiveness of Intrauterine Bakri Balloon® Tamponade for Placenta Previa and Placenta Accreta Spectrum.
To investigate the effectiveness and success rate of Bakri balloon tamponade (BBT) for postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) in patients with placenta previa and placenta accreta spectrum (PAS). ⋯ BBT is an effective tool for management of postpartum uterine atony and prevention of persistent PPH in patients with placenta previa and placenta accreta spectrum due to increased cesarean section and uterine surgeries in recent years. Observational StudyWhatsApp as an Emergency Teleradiology Application for Cranial CT Assessment in Emergency Services.
To evaluate the diagnostic agreement of transmitted images of cranial CT due to trauma, through WhatsApp software compared to workstation image-based diagnosis. ⋯ Although WhatsApp can be used in the evaluation of emergency cranial CT images, it is essential to note that some findings, especially those indicating fractures, subdural hematoma, and parenchymal contusion, can be overlooked. Observational StudyClinical Features and Treatment Outcomes of Children with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma.
To describe clinical features and treatment options in pediatric patients with ALCL (Anaplastic large cell lymphoma) and their outcome over a span of 10 years. ⋯ This analysis shows poor outcomes in pediatric ALCL. The most common cause of mortality was hematological toxicity and febrile neutropenia associated with it. Supportive care needs to be improved. Systemic Inflammatory Biomarkers in Patients with Fuchs' Uveitis Syndrome: Neutrophil/Lymphocyte Ratio and Platelet/Lymphocyte Ratio.
To evaluate the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) in patients with Fuchs' uveitis syndrome (FUS). ⋯ The current study suggests that a slowly progressive immune-mediated process can affect peripheral blood inflammatory biomarkers and there is evidence of benign subclinical systemic inflammation in patients with FUS.
