Direct uterine sampling using the SAP-l sampler device to detect endometrial lesions during histopathological examination.
To evaluate the sampling adequacy and diagnostic accuracy of the endometrial SAP-l sampling device in detecting endometrial lesions based on histopathological examination. ⋯ Endometrial sampling using the SAP-l sampler is a minimally invasive altemative technique for obtaining adequate endometrial specimens for histopathological examination. The SAP-l sampler was useful in detecting endometrial carcinoma and atypical hyperplasia cases that were not highly suspected to be localized; however, this method was not useful in detecting endometrial polyps and submucosal leiomyomas.

Case ReportsCoexistence of three benign and a borderline tumor in the ovaries of a 52-year-old woman.
In this paper, the authors describe a rare case of four simultaneous ovarian tumors. ⋯ Pathologists must examine multiple sections of both ovaries, regardless of the macroscopic or clinical specimen's appearance, in order to exclude the presence of malignancy, which could alter the surgical approach. Particular attention should also be paid to the frozen section of the contralateral ovary, as depending on the result, it could change the surgical approach. From the surgeon's perspective, bilateral salpingo-ophorectomy with total hysterectomy should be the treatment of choice in postmenopausal women with multiple ovarian tumors. The diagnosis of a malignant or borderline tumor on a normal-appearing ovary changes the radicality of the surgical approach. In such a case, staging surgery, including omentectomy, multiple peritoneal biopsies, and washes are required.

Case ReportsAcute hemorrhage related to spontaneous rupture of an uterine fibroid: a rare case report.
The authors present smooth muscle tumors of uncertain malignant potential (STUMP) diagnosis and surgical management of a spontaneously-ruptured degenerated uterine fibroids. A 48-year-old nulliparous presented with a two-day history of abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, and menorrhagia. Within eight hours, her distress level increased. ⋯ STUMP presents a problematic group of uterine smooth muscle tumors for any clinician. In addition, STUMP can rarely cause acute complications like a rupture. Therefore, prompt diagnosis and effective management are important.

Case ReportsSynchronous of breast and vulvar Paget's disease: a case report.
Synchronous Paget's disease of breast and vulva is extremely rare and has only been reported in the literature in one other case. ⋯ Synchronous of breast and vulvar Paget's disease is presented. There was a delay in diagnosing vulvar Paget's disease in this experienced case. While coincidence of breast and vulvar Paget's disease is likely, ectopic mammary tissue in vulvar as well as secondary metastasis from a focal lesion of breast Paget's disease needs to be carefully evaluated whenever the patient complains of vulvar symptoms in the setting of breast Paget's disease.

Randomized Controlled TrialEfficiency of postoperative pain management after gynecologic oncological surgeries with the use of morphine + acetaminophen + ketoprofen versus morphine + metamizol + ketoprofen.
Surgical treatment used in gynecological oncology involves acute postoperative pain which requires efficient treatment. This study covered a group of 128 patients who were randomly divided into two groups. In the postoperative period patients in group I were administered morphine subcutaneously, acetaminophen intravenously and naproxen per rectum. ⋯ In group I after the administration of morphine and acetaminophen 22 patients (34.37%) needed additional doses of ketoprofen. In group II 33 women (51.56%) required ketoprofen after the administration of morphine and metamizole (N1 = 22 vs N2 = 33, p < 0.05). The use of metamizol with morphine (without ketoprofen) gave worse analgesic results than acetaminophen with morphine, but the combination of morphine, acetaminophen and ketoprofen or morphine, metamizol and ketoprofen gave satisfactory analgesic results.
