Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is associated with tremendous postoperative pain, and pain relief should concisely be considered. This study aims to compare the efficacy of preemptive periarticular multimodal drug injection versus placebo and oral celecoxib on postoperative pain control after TKA. ⋯ Preemptive periarticular multimodal drug injection, including bupivacaine, morphine, epinephrine, and ketorolac, can cause considerable postoperative pain relief and better ROM achievement in comparison to placebo or oral celecoxib.

Diphenhydramine (DPH) is an antihistamine medication that in overdose can result in anticholinergic symptoms and serious complications, including arrhythmia and coma. We aimed to compare the value of various machine learning (ML) models, including light gradient boosting machine (LGBM), logistic regression (LR), and random forest (RF), in the outcome prediction of DPH poisoning. ⋯ Our study demonstrates the application of ML in the prediction of DPH poisoning.
