To determine the time from onset of symptoms to start of fibrinolysis and treatment in acute ST elevated myocardial infarction patients and identify the factors which cause delay in treatment. ⋯ According to the findings of this study, more than one third of patients reached the hospital within two hours of initiation of symptoms while only 5.1% reached within one hour. The delay was mostly pre-hospital attributed to arranging transport, stay at first medical contact and time taken from first medical contact to the hospital.

To determine the effectiveness of Fragility Fracture Integrated Rehabilitation Management (FIRM) on mobility, activity of daily living and cognitive functioning in elderly with hip fracture. ⋯ Both groups improved in indoor mobility with walker and crutches as well as activities of daily living. But FIRM showed more improving ambulation with walker and stair climbing. While cognitive functioning was observed only in FIRM group.

To analyse the frequency, co morbidities and outcome ofAcute Kidney Injury (AKI) in elderly patients. ⋯ AKI is frequent among elderly admitted patients, commonest co- morbidity in these patients is hypertension. Outcome of AKI in elderly patients is poor with death in 22% of our patients.

To determine the motivational factors of medical students for selecting medical career as a profession. ⋯ Major motivation behind selecting medical field was prestigious profession followed by altruism. By understanding medical students' motivational factors for pursuing medical field we would be able to analyze the future trend of professionals.
