The specific objectives of this study were to identify the ethical issues in reporting of health-related events in media and suggest ways to improve it. ⋯ The quality of health reporting can be improved by building the capacity of health reporters in understanding the ethical issues and their social responsibilities toward health.

To determine the role of r-irisin in attenuating nicotine-induced oxidative stress by estimating serum oxidative stress markers and antioxidant enzymes in BALB/c mice. ⋯ Irisin ameliorates nicotine induced oxidative stress by improving serum anti-oxidant enzyme levels and reducing serum lipid peroxidation marker.

To assess the knowledge of undergraduate medical students about curriculum development and implementation. ⋯ The undergraduate medical students are aware of the terms related to curriculum, its development and implementation but they are not being involved in any of this process. Content revision, clinical integration from initial years, quality assessment and faculty development are few areas that need improvement from students' perspectives.

To investigate hemorheology and inflammatory marker changes after treatment for acute ischemic stroke (AIS) using intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) with mechanical thrombectomy (MT). ⋯ The clinical efficacy of combined IVT and MT in the treatment of AIS is superior to IVT alone, improving levels of hemorheology and inflammatory markers in patients with AIS.

To compare pre and post Foley's catheter Bishop Score during labour induction. ⋯ Foley's is the better and safer option. In view of our results, It has been recommended to keep the Foley's for 10-12 hours to get significant improvement in bishop score.
