Hepatic Veno occlusive disease (VOD), also known as sinusoidal obstruction syndrome (VOD/SOS), is a post-transplant life threatening complication. In this study, we aimed to discuss the incidence, management and outcome of VOD in post allogenic transplant patients of beta thalassemia major (BTM). ⋯ Careful selection of transplant candidates before transplant can help reduce the incidence of VOD.

To explore the efficacy of Danshen injection combined with calcitriol and calcium/Vitamin-D in the treatment of osteoporotic fractures. ⋯ Danshen injection combined with calcitriol and calcium/Vitamin-D for the treatment of osteoporotic fractures can effectively reduce inflammation, regulate bone metabolism, and improve fracture treatment efficacy with a favorable safety profile.

To explore the changes of serum-related indexes at different time points, so as to identify the critical time of converting from simple premature thelarche (PT) to idiopathic central precocious puberty (ICPP). ⋯ Findings in our study suggest that regular monitoring of vitamin-D, IGF-1, IGFBP-3, DHEA and leptin levels, and uterine and ovarian volumes can predict the conversion from PT to ICPP at an early stage.

To explore the clinical effect of calcium plus Vitamin-D combined with calcitriol in the treatment of patients with type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients and osteoporosis. ⋯ Combination of calcium plus Vitamin-D and calcitriol adjuvant therapy in patients with T2DM and osteoporosis is safe and associated with better treatment efficacy, improved bone metabolism and bone density parameters than calcium plus Vitamin-D treatment alone.

Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) seriously influences the health of mothers and babies, and there are still no effective early diagnostic markers. Therefore, our study planned to probe the correlation between serum microRNA-122 and VEGF expression and pregnancy outcome in GDM patients. ⋯ The higher serum miR-122 and VEGF levels in GDM patients with satisfactory blood glucose control, the greater the probability of adverse pregnancy outcome, which should be paid attention to by clinicians.
