To explore the efficacy of Danshen injection combined with calcitriol and calcium/Vitamin-D in the treatment of osteoporotic fractures. ⋯ Danshen injection combined with calcitriol and calcium/Vitamin-D for the treatment of osteoporotic fractures can effectively reduce inflammation, regulate bone metabolism, and improve fracture treatment efficacy with a favorable safety profile.

To evaluate clinical presentation and pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women with Covid-19 infection in our local tertiary care from lower middle-income country. ⋯ Majority of pregnant women were asymptomatic. Symptomatic women with COVID-19 infection had an increased risk of adverse feto-maternal outcome.

To analyze the gender, age and side association of cochlear duct length in Pakistani-Asian cochlear implant recipient population based on computed tomography imaging study. ⋯ Pakistani population is characterized by a short mean CDL of 29.935±2.173 mm with significant association (p<0.001) with gender with longer cochlear duct length in males; and side with larger CDL on right side. However, no significant association with age was noted.

To compare pre and post Foley's catheter Bishop Score during labour induction. ⋯ Foley's is the better and safer option. In view of our results, It has been recommended to keep the Foley's for 10-12 hours to get significant improvement in bishop score.

Antenatal visits play a very important role to diagnose and manage pregnancy related health issues. This study was an attempt to identify the reasons that increase the risk of postpartum acute kidney Injury with special focus on antenatal care. ⋯ Patients who did not have antenatal care were at an increased risk of developing PPAKI. Financial issues and lack of awareness were the most common risk factors for compromised antenatal care.
