ReviewThe Body weight Reducing Effects of Tirzepatide in People with and without Type 2 Diabetes: A Review on Efficacy and Adverse Effects.
Obesity is becoming more frequent and has several negative health impacts. Recent advances in weight management strategies have primarily resided in pharmaceutical treatments, and the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists have shown great potential in terms of body weight reduction in addition to improving glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D). Recently, the dual GLP-1 and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor agonist tirzepatide has been developed. ⋯ Overall, discontinuation due to adverse events occurred in 3-7% of participants with no major differences between individuals with and without T2D. The higher weight-reducing efficacy of tirzepatide in trial participants without T2D is currently unexplained and may be partly reflected in dissimilarities in frequencies of gastrointestinal adverse events. The weight reducing effects of tirzepatide hold great promise for weight management in obese patients regardless of the presence of T2D.

Strategies for Effective Dentist-Patient Communication: A Literature Review.
The effectiveness of high-quality dental care predominantly lies on the communication between dentist and patient. However, little literature has reported the importance of these "soft skills" in dental practice. The aim of this literature review is to explore strategies for effective dentist-patient communication. ⋯ This form of telecommunication is not only a convenient way of communication but also reduces the costs associated with a dentist visit. In conclusion, effective dentist-patient communication is vital for the success of dental practice. Dentists who prioritize communication and build positive relationships with their patients are more likely to achieve positive outcomes and foster the expansion of their dental practice.

ReviewMedication Adherence of Older Adults with Hypertension: A Systematic Review.
Hypertension (HTN) significantly increases the risk of stroke and heart disease, which are the leading causes of death and disability globally, particularly among older adults. Antihypertensive medication is a proven treatment for blood pressure control and preventing complications. However, medication adherence rates in older adults with HTN are low. In this review, we systematically identified factors influencing medication adherence in older adults with HTN. ⋯ The findings of this review highlight critical areas for developing innovative, evidence-based programs to improve medication adherence in hypertensive older adults. Insights from this review can contribute to improving medication adherence and preventing future health complications.

ReviewConceptualizing the Facilitators and Barriers of Successful Multidisciplinary Teamwork Within the Reablement Process: A Scoping Review.
As the global population ages, there is increasing pressure on health systems to provide high-quality and cost-effective care for this growing segment of the population. Reablement, primarily a strategic home-based rehabilitation approach, has been demonstrated to be a cost-effective, multidisciplinary, holistic, and person-centred approach to maintaining functional independence as one ages. Given that care delivery in the home setting for older persons is complex, a key feature of effective implementation of reablement is the integration of a multidisciplinary team. ⋯ The findings indicate that multidisciplinary teamwork in reablement settings is diverse, complex, and situational. In this paper, we propose a conceptual model that integrates each theme as a way to understand the complexity and interconnectedness of the themes along the quest for greater multidisciplinary teamwork in reablement. Given the positive outcomes of both service consumers and providers, amplification of multidisciplinary teamwork within reablement holds the promise of effective care for older persons in a time of growing service demands.

ReviewInterventions to Improve Endoscopic Screening Adherence of Cancer in High-Risk Populations: A Scoping Review.
Colorectal, and gastric cancers have the second, and fourth mortality rates worldwide, respectively. Endoscopic screening is a crucial diagnostic tool for colorectal, and gastric cancers. Effective interventions can improve adherence to endoscopic screening in high-risk populations, which is important for cancer prevention and mortality reduction. This study aimed to identify interventions that could improve adherence to endoscopic screening for cancer in high-risk populations. ⋯ All interventions involved were effective in increasing individual knowledge of cancer-related endoscopic screening, willingness to undergo screening, and screening behaviors. These findings provide a reference for designing endoscopy-related cancer screening interventions.
