Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyInorganic Nitrite to Amplify the Benefits and Tolerability of Exercise Training in Heart Failure With Preserved Ejection Fraction: The INABLE-Training Trial.
To determine whether nitrite can enhance exercise training (ET) effects in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). ⋯ For patients with HFpEF, ET administered for 12 weeks in a predominantly rural setting improved exercise capacity and health status, but compared with placebo, treatment with inorganic nitrite did not enhance the benefit from ET.

Multicenter StudyPrevalence of and Risk Factors for Post-traumatic Headache in Civilian Patients After Mild Traumatic Brain Injury: A TRACK-TBI Study.
To ascertain the prevalence of and risk factors for post-traumatic headache (PTH) attributed to mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). ⋯ Post-traumatic headache is a prevalent sequela of mTBI that persists for at least 12 months in a considerable proportion of affected individuals. The attributable burden necessitates better patient follow-up, disease characterization, improved awareness of PTH in clinical practice, and identification of effective therapies.

Multicenter StudyIncremental Benefit of Lipid Lowering in a Large Chinese Population Aged 75 Years and Older With Established Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease.
To explore the optimal low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) level in patients aged 75 years and older with established atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). ⋯ Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels from 40.1 to 55.0 mg/dL exhibited the maximum cardiovascular benefit in patients aged 75 years and older who had ASCVD. Lowering LDL-C levels to 40.0 mg/dL or less might increase the risk of hemorrhagic stroke.

Multicenter StudyNonorganic (Behavioral) Signs and Their Association With Epidural Corticosteroid Injection Treatment Outcomes and Psychiatric Comorbidity in Cervical Radiculopathy: A Multicenter Study.
To determine the association between cervical nonorganic pain signs and epidural corticosteroid injection outcomes and coexisting pain and psychiatric conditions. ⋯ Cervical nonorganic signs correlate with treatment outcome, pain, and psychiatric comorbidities. Screening for these signs and psychiatric symptoms may improve treatment outcomes.

Multicenter StudyRevascularization in Patients With Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction and Advanced Chronic Kidney Disease.
To investigate the impact of revascularization on long-term survival and renal outcome in non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) patients with severe chronic kidney disease (CKD). ⋯ Revascularization was associated with a lower risk of all-cause mortality in NSTEMI patients with severe CKD. For non-dialysis-dependent patients who survived to discharge, revascularization was associated with a higher risk of progression to chronic hemodialysis.
