The Association between Serum Lipid Levels and Tinnitus Prevalence and Severity in Korean Elderly: A Nationwide Population-Based Cross-Sectional Study.
We aimed to investigate the association between serum lipid level and tinnitus risk in Korean older adults. ⋯ This study revealed that hypertriglyceridemia and high TC/HDL-C ratio were significantly associated with an increased OR of tinnitus in Korean older adults.

Smartphone AI vs. Medical Experts: A Comparative Study in Prehospital STEMI Diagnosis.
Prehospital telecardiology facilitates early ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) detection, yet its widespread implementation remains challenging. Extracting digital STEMI biomarkers from printed electrocardiograms (ECGs) using phone cameras could offer an affordable and scalable solution. This study assessed the feasibility of this approach with real-world prehospital ECGs. ⋯ The digital STEMI biomarker, derived from printed prehospital ECGs, demonstrated non-inferiority to expert consensus, indicating a promising approach for enhancing prehospital telecardiology.

Feasibility of Intraoperative Radiotherapy Tumor Bed Boost in Patients with Breast Cancer after Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy.
This study aimed to assess the feasibility and safety of administering intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT) as a boost during breast-conserving surgery (BCS) following neoadjuvant chemotherapy for patients at high risk of breast cancer recurrence. ⋯ Most patients successfully received IORT as a tumor bed boost after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Thus, IORT may be a safe and feasible option for patients with advanced-stage breast cancer receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

The Magnitude of Change in Serum Phosphate Concentration Is Associated with Mortality in Patients with Severe Trauma.
Previous studies have suggested that serum phosphate concentration is a prognostic factor in critically ill patients. However, the association between changes in serum phosphate levels and prognosis of patients with trauma remains unclear. ⋯ An increase in serum phosphate concentrations 24 hours after the initial measurement could be considered as an independent prognostic factor in patients with severe trauma.

The Prediction Model of Non-Suicidal Self-Injury in Psychiatric Patients Using Decision Tree Analysis.
The prevalence rate of non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) in the clinical population is higher than that in the community sample, necessitating the need to investigate the predicting factors of NSSI in this group. The present study aimed to develop a prediction model of NSSI among psychiatric patients in Korea. ⋯ The major contribution of this study is finding a combination of factors to predict the high-risk group of NSSI among psychiatric patients in Korea. This study provides evidence on the effect of rumination, working memory, and problematic alcohol use on NSSI. It is suggested that clinicians and researchers should pay more attention to emotion regulation and related vulnerabilities in preventing and treating NSSI.
