ReviewPresent status and future directions of intraoperative radiotherapy.
In this Review, we summarise recent published work on the use of intraoperative radiotherapy to treat common tumour sites in the primary or recurrent setting. Techniques, radiobiology, and the physics of intraoperative radiotherapy are also explored. Disease sites discussed in this Review include head and neck cancer, breast cancer, sarcoma, gastrointestinal cancer, genitourinary cancer, gynaecological cancer, thoracic cancer, and palliative applications.

Comparative StudyAdjuvant docetaxel and cyclophosphamide plus trastuzumab in patients with HER2-amplified early stage breast cancer: a single-group, open-label, phase 2 study.
Previous results suggest that docetaxel plus cyclophosphamide improves disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival compared with doxorubicin plus cyclophosphamide in early stage breast cancer. We assessed the addition of 1 year of trastuzumab to a non-anthracycline regimen, docetaxel plus cyclophosphamide, in patients with HER2-amplified early stage breast cancer and examined whether this regimen was equally effective in patients with TOP2A-amplified and TOP2A-non-amplified disease. ⋯ Sanofi.

Review Meta AnalysisAdjuvant treatments for resected pancreatic adenocarcinoma: a systematic review and network meta-analysis.
Major adjuvant treatments for pancreatic adenocarcinoma include fluorouracil, gemcitabine, chemoradiation, and chemoradiation plus fluorouracil or gemcitabine. Since the optimum regimen remains inconclusive, we aimed to compare these treatments in terms of overall survival after tumour resection and in terms of grade 3-4 toxic effects with a systematic review and random-effects Bayesian network meta-analysis. ⋯ None.
