Randomized Controlled Trial
Moist exposed burn therapy in recovery of patients with immature, red hypertrophic scars successfully treated with a pulsed dye laser in combination with a fractional CO2 laser.
The efficacy of pulsed dye laser combined (PDL) and UltraPulse fractional CO2 in treatment of hypertrophic scars is well documented. The present study investigates the efficacy of moist exposed burn ointment (MEBO)/moist exposed burn therapy (MEBT) in postlaser wound management. ⋯ MEBT/MEBO treatment reduced the post-treatment pain, shortened the wound healing duration, promoted the overall scar condition, and reduced the incidence of pigmentation.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study Comparative Study
A multi-center comparative efficacy and safety study of two different hyaluronic acid fillers for treatment of nasolabial folds in a Chinese population.
Nonsurgical injectable treatments, including hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, are increasingly used in Asian patients. ⋯ Similar to Restylane, Restylane Lyft was effective and well tolerated for treatment of moderate to severe NLFs in this Chinese population.

Topical skin therapies in subjects undergoing full facial rejuvenation.
Cosmeceutical therapies including face washes, moisturizers, chemical peels and antioxidant formulations are intended to improve the esthetic appearance of skin. The use of these products as adjuncts to full facial rejuvenation with hyaluronic acid filler and abobotulinumtoxinA may improve cosmetic and socio-esthetic outcomes. ⋯ The cosmeceutical therapies used in this study in combination with abobotulinumtoxinA and hyaluronic acid filler improved subjects' skin quality, self-esteem, and projected first impressions. Larger studies are needed to determine the most efficacious combination of topical skin therapies with facial rejuvenation therapy.

Temporal brow lift vs internal browpexy in females undergoing upper blepharoplasty: Effects on lateral brow lifting.
Lateral brow-lifting surgical procedures in conjunction with upper blepharoplasty may prevent secondary descent following upper blepharoplasty. ⋯ Internal browpexy combined with blepharoplasty could be considered the better procedure in patients with upper eyelid dermatochalasis in terms of long-lasting stability and lateral brow elevation.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
Comparison of the effectiveness of pulsed dye laser vs pulsed dye laser combined with ultrapulse fractional CO2 laser in the treatment of immature red hypertrophic scars.
The objective was to investigate the clinical effect of an adjustable pulse width Pulsed Dye Laser (PDL) vs an adjustable pulse width PDL combined with fractional CO2 laser in treating immature red hypertrophic scars. ⋯ The 595 nm adjustable pulse width PDL combined with the fractional CO2 fractional laser appears to have a beneficial clinical effect on fresh red hypertrophic scars, with no severe adverse reactions seen.
