Multicenter Study Observational Study
Clinical presentation, course, and prognosis of patients with mixed connective tissue disease: A multicenter retrospective cohort.
The objective of this study is to better characterize the features and outcomes of a large population of patients with mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD). ⋯ This study shows that MCTD is a distinct entity that can be classified using either Kasukawa or Sharp criteria, and that only 25.8% of patients progress to a dCTD during follow-up.

Multicenter StudyValidation of Proposed Criteria for Progressive Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Rationale: Criteria for progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF) have been proposed, but their prognostic value beyond categorical decline in FVC remains unclear. Objectives: To determine whether proposed PPF criteria predict transplant-free survival (TFS) in patients with non-idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) forms of interstitial lung disease (ILD). Methods: A retrospective, multicenter cohort analysis was performed. ⋯ S. test cohort, with 6 maintaining TFS associations in the UK validation cohort. Validated PPF criteria requiring a combination of physiologic, radiologic, and symptomatic worsening performed similarly to their stand-alone components but captured a smaller number of patients. Conclusions: An FVC decline of ⩾10% and six additional PPF criteria satisfied in the absence of such decline identify patients with non-IPF ILD at increased risk for death or lung transplantation.

Transcranial Motor-evoked Potentials for Intraoperative Nerve Root Monitoring during Adult Spinal Deformity Surgery: A Prospective Multicenter Study.
A prospective, multicenter study. ⋯ Nerve root injuries in our ASD cohort were partially predictable using multichannel Tc-MEPs with a 70% decrease in amplitude as an alarm threshold. We propose that future research should evaluate the efficacy of an idealized warning threshold (e.g., 50%) and a more detailed evoked muscle selection, in reducing false negatives.

Predictors of severe illness in children with multisystem inflammatory syndrome after SARS-CoV-2 infection: a multicentre cohort study.
SARS-CoV-2 infection can lead to multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C). We sought to investigate risk factors for admission to the intensive care unit (ICU) and explored changes in disease severity over time. ⋯ We observed that age and higher ferritin levels were associated with more severe MIS-C. We observed greater severity of MIS-C later in the study period. Whether emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants pose different risks of severe MIS-C needs to be determined.

Multicenter StudyInterstitial pneumonia with autoimmune features: Evaluation of connective tissue disease incidence during follow-up.
Among interstitial pneumonia with autoimmune features (IPAF) patients, identifying those at risk to develop a connective tissue disease (CTD) during the disease course is a key issue. The aim of this study was to evaluate the incidence of definite CTD diagnosis in IPAF patients during follow-up. ⋯ We found that a significant proportion of IPAF patients had associated CTD diagnosis during follow-up. Prospective studies are needed to confirm baseline predictive factors of CTD occurrence in IPAF patients.
