Meta Analysis
Efficacy of exercise in patients with atrial fibrillation: Systematic review and meta-analysis.
The benefits of exercise in atrial fibrillation (AF) are not clear yet. The aim was to assess the effects of exercise on functional capacity, quality of life, symptoms and adverse events in AF patients. ⋯ Exercise has a beneficial role as an adjuvant treatment of AF.

Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis belongs to the spectrum of metabolic-associated fatty liver diseases characterized by steatosis linked to obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, dyslipidemia and immune-mediated disorders. The main features of MAFLD include high prevalence, heterogeneity, complexity and dynamic disease. Pruritus and asthenia are the main clinical manifestation that impact on quality of life and patient-reported outcomes. ⋯ Therapeutic options included life-style intervention. Mediterranean hypocaloric Diet to lose weight, exercise to fight sarcopenia and alcohol abstinence. In non-responders, drug-therapy focusing on obesity, diabetes and fibrosis using sequentially or combined to promote steatosis, inflammation and fibrosis regression.

To identify subgroups with good progress over an extended period, we used diagnostic screening, tumour palpability, tumour phenotype, and node involvement. ⋯ Patients with non-palpable tumours detected by mammogram screening have ultralow risk. The good progress in the luminal A, triple-negative, HER2, and less than 1 cm subgroups may explain the efficacy of the treatment but it also makes them candidates to de-escalation of their treatment.

Effectiveness and safety of the treatment of lysosomal deposit diseases: Analysis of 22 patients.
Identify the efficacy variables collected in the literature for therapies used in lysosomal storage diseases (LDS), evaluate the quality of this evidence, and know the effectiveness and safety of these treatments. ⋯ The effectiveness was variable according to the pathology. Regarding safety, manageable adverse reactions to SRT were associated with dosage adjustments.

Utility of cytokines CXCL4, CXCL8 and GDF15 as biomarkers in systemic sclerosis.
Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is an autoinmune disease that can affect several organs and its mortality is fundamentally related to its pulmonary involvement. There are some cytokines with high serum levels of patients with SSc. Our goal is to determine the role of CXCL4, CXCL8 and GDF15 in the physiopathology of SSc and whether they can be considered organic damage biomarkers. ⋯ GDF15 high levels were associated with diffuse SSc, lung impairment, disease activity and changes in capillaroscopy. Moreover, CXCL4 was only associated with skin impairment, while CXCL8 was not related to organic damage.
