Magnesium lithospermate B enhances the potential of human-induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes for myocardial repair.
We previously reported that activation of the cell cycle in human-induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (hiPSC-CMs) enhances their remuscularization capacity after human cardiac muscle patch transplantation in infarcted mouse hearts. Herein, we sought to identify the effect of magnesium lithospermate B (MLB) on hiPSC-CMs during myocardial repair using a myocardial infarction (MI) mouse model. ⋯ MLB significantly enhanced the potential of hiPSC-CMs in repairing injured myocardium by improving endothelial cell function via the NF-κB/ICAM1 pathway and inhibiting hiPSC-CMs apoptosis via the DUSP2/STAT3 pathway.

Tildrakizumab for moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis in Chinese patients: A 12-week randomized placebo-controlled phase III trial with long-term extension.
There is a need for effective and safe therapies for psoriasis that provide sustained benefits. The aim of this study was to assess the efficacy and safety of tildrakizumab, an anti-interleukin-23p19 monoclonal antibody, for treating moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis in Chinese patients. ⋯ ClinicalTrials.gov, NCT05108766.

Progress and perspective of organoid technology in breast cancer research.
Breast cancer, a malignant tumor with a high incidence in women, lacks in vitro research models that can represent the biological functions of breast tumors in vivo. As a new biological tool, the organoid model has unique advantages over traditional methods, such as cell culture and patient-derived xenografts. ⋯ The emergence of breast cancer organoids has provided new tools and research directions in precision medicine, personality therapy, and drug research. In this review, we summarized the merits and demerits of organoids compared to traditional biological models, explored the latest developments in the combination of new technologies and organoid models, and discussed the construction methods and application prospects of different breast organoid models.
