As is stated in the Oath of a Pharmacist, pharmacists must "consider the welfare of humanity and relief of suffering [their] primary concern." Through advocacy, pharmacists and student pharmacists can uphold their professional ethics and roles on the health care team by advocating for the care of a patient population that needs the profession's help.
