Randomized Controlled TrialBilateral uterine artery ligation plus intravenous tranexamic acid during cesarean delivery for placenta previa: a randomized double-blind controlled trial.
To investigate the effect of adjunctive intravenous tranexamic acid (TA) on blood loss during cesarean section (CS) in patients with placenta previa undergone bilateral uterine arteryligation (BUAL). ⋯ The adjunctive use of intravenousTA in patients undergone BUAL due to placenta previa is associated with decrease blood loss, need for additional uterotonics and blood transfusion during CS compared with BUAL alone.

The incidence, causes, and management of lower urinary tract injury during total laparoscopic hysterectomy.
Determining the incidence and causes of lower urinary tract injury in patients undergoing total laparoscopic hysterectomy and examining the procedures applied for management. ⋯ Laparoscopic hysterectomy may be a good option in appropriate patients, but in case of previous cesarean section and endometriosis cases, patients should be informed about the possible complications in detail before the operation and care should be taken during dissection.

Multicenter StudyFrench validation and adaptation of the Grobman nomogram for prediction of vaginal birth after cesarean delivery.
To validate Grobman nomogram for predicting vaginal birth after cesarean delivery (VBAC) in a French population and adapt it. ⋯ The nomogram to predict VBAC developed by Grobman et al. is validated in the French population. Adaptation to the French population, by excluding ethnicity, appeared to improve its performance. Impact of the nomogram use on the caesarean section rate has to be validated in a randomized control trial.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyFactors affecting rotation of occiput posterior position during the first stage of labor.
Fetal occiput posterior (OP) positions account for 15 to 20% of cephalic presentations and are associated with poorer maternal and neonatal outcomes than occiput anterior (OA) positions. The aim of this study was to identify maternal, neonatal and obstetric factors associated with rotation from OP to OA position during the first stage of labor. ⋯ Oxytocin administration may affect rotation of OP positions during the first stage of labor. Further studies should be performed to assess the risks and benefits of its utilization for managing labor with a fetus in OP position.

Observational Study[Fetoscopic laser coagulation in 200 consecutive monochorionic pregnancies with twin-twin transfusion syndrome].
To report preoperative data, surgical characteristics, complications and perinatal outcome of twin-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) managed with laser ablation surgery, to analyze predictors of neonatal survival and to compare the 100 most recent cases with the older 100. ⋯ The neonatal survival of TTTS is improved by fetoscopic laser coagulation, preferely by using Solomon tecnhique. The use of active management of stage I is currently on research.
