Randomized Controlled Trial
Prediction of intensive care admission and hospital mortality in COVID-19 patients using demographics and baseline laboratory data.
Optimized allocation of medical resources to patients with COVID-19 has been a critical concern since the onset of the pandemic. ⋯ The authors developed and validated prognostic scores that use readily available clinical and laboratory information to predict ICU admission and mortality in COVID-19. These scores can become valuable tools to support clinical decisions and improve the allocation of limited health resources.

Effect of concurrent training in unilateral transtibial amputees using Paralympic athletes as a control group.
Transtibial Amputation (TA) predisposes to a sedentary lifestyle. ⋯ After eight weeks of CT, there was an improvement in general functional condition, muscle strength, and cardiorespiratory performance improving protection against chronic diseases and quality of life.

Familial Adenomatous Polyposis is a complex hereditary disease that exposes the carrier to a great risk of Colorectal Cancer (CRC). After prophylactic surgery, intra-abdominal desmoid tumors are known to be one the most important cause of death. Therefore, recognition of increased-risk patients and modification of operative strategy may be crucial. ⋯ Recognition of clinical (female sex) and surgical (timing of surgery and previous reoperations) data as unfavorable variables associated with greater risk may be useful during the decision-making process.

We examined the expression of Lnc-ZFAS1 in osteosarcoma and comprehensively evaluated its effects on osteosarcoma in vitro and vivo. Moreover, we revealed the regulatory mechanism between Lnc-ZFAS1 and miR-520b/miR-520e-mediated RHOC and provided a novel clue for ameliorating osteosarcoma. ⋯ Lnc-ZFAS1 acted sponger of miR-520b and miR-520e to promote RHOC, indicating that Lnc-ZFAS1/miR-520b/RHOC and Lnc-ZFAS1/miR-520e/RHOC axes might serve as potential therapeutic strategies against osteosarcoma.

Microablative fractional radiofrequency for sexual dysfunction and vaginal Trophism: A randomized clinical trial.
To evaluate Microablative Fractional Radiofrequency (MAFRF) as a possible option in treating vaginal atrophy. ⋯ Radiofrequency was comparable in efficacy to estrogen administration for treating vulvovaginal atrophy. It deserves consideration as a viable option in managing this condition.
