Comparative StudyComparison of retrospective PET and MRI-DWI (PET/MRI-DWI) image fusion with PET/CT and MRI-DWI in detection of cervical and endometrial cancer lymph node metastases.
The aim of this study was to compare the accuracy of retrospective image fusion of PET/MRI-DWI with that of PET/CT and MRI-DWI alone in detecting metastatic lymph nodes in patients with cervical and endometrial carcinoma. ⋯ PET/MRI-DWI may be a valuable technique for N-staging patients with endometrial and cervical cancer, but more studies are needed to investigate its potential clinical utility.

Comparative StudyRadiation exposure related to cardiovascular CT examination: comparison between conventional 64-MDCT and third-generation dual-source MDCT.
To compare radiation exposure associated with daily practice cardiovascular (CV) examinations performed on two different multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) scanners, a conventional 64-MDCT and a third-generation dual-source (DS) MDCT. ⋯ In daily practice, CV examinations CTDI, DLP, ED, ET and TV were lower and PF was higher with 192 × 2-DSCT compared to 64-MDCT.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative StudyT2 shine-through phenomena in diffusion-weighted MR imaging of lumbar discs after oxygen-ozone discolysis: a randomized, double-blind trial with steroid and O2-O3 discolysis versus steroid only.
To evaluate the discal morpho-structural changes as predictive sign in the clinical outcome after Ozone Therapy in lumbar disc herniation using the T2 shine-through effect in DWI. ⋯ T2 shine-through effect in DWI is present before morphological disc reduction and moreover could be considered as a predictive sign of response to oxygen-ozone treatment.

Machine learning-based radiomic models to predict intensity-modulated radiation therapy response, Gleason score and stage in prostate cancer.
To develop different radiomic models based on the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) radiomic features and machine learning methods to predict early intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) response, Gleason scores (GS) and prostate cancer (Pca) stages. ⋯ Radiomic models developed by MR image features and machine learning approaches are noninvasive and easy methods for personalized prostate cancer diagnosis and therapy.

Long-term follow-up in the endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms with flow-diverter stents: update of a single-centre experience.
Flow-diverter stents are becoming a useful tool in treating patients with intracranial aneurysms with suitable anatomical feature. Purpose of this study was to evaluate effectiveness and safety of endovascular treatment with flow-diverting stents (FD) in unruptured intracranial aneurysms. ⋯ According to our study FD repair of unruptured intracranial aneurysms appeared to be a safe and effective technique, especially in selected patients with hostile anatomy for traditional embolization.
