Left Ventricular Remodeling After Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement With Tendyne: New Insights From Computed Tomography.
The aim of this study was to describe the anatomic and functional changes in left-sided chambers using computed tomographic angiography (CTA) from baseline to 1 month after transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR) with the Tendyne prosthesis. ⋯ TMVR with Tendyne results in favorable left-sided chamber remodeling in the majority of patients treated, as detected on CTA at 1 month after implantation. CTA identifies favorable post-TMVR changes, which could be related to specific characteristics of the device implantation.

Comparative Study Observational StudyTranscatheter Aortic Valve Replacement in Bicuspid Versus Tricuspid Aortic Valves From the STS/ACC TVT Registry.
This study sought to compare outcomes in patients with bicuspid versus tricuspid anatomy undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). ⋯ All-cause mortality, stroke, and valve hemodynamics did not differ at 30 days or 1 year between patient groups. In patients at increased surgical risk, TAVR for bicuspid aortic valve stenosis indicates acceptable safety outcomes with low complications rates.

Meta AnalysisMultivessel Versus Culprit-Only Revascularization in STEMI and Multivessel Coronary Artery Disease: Meta-Analysis of Randomized Trials.
The goal of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to provide a comprehensive evaluation of contemporary randomized trials addressing the efficacy and safety of multivessel versus culprit vessel-only percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) among patients presenting with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and multivessel coronary artery disease. ⋯ Multivessel PCI was associated with a lower risk for reinfarction, without any difference in all-cause mortality, compared with culprit vessel-only PCI in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction.
