Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter StudyThe REDUCE HTN: REINFORCE: Randomized, Sham-Controlled Trial of Bipolar Radiofrequency Renal Denervation for the Treatment of Hypertension.
The aim of this study was to investigate bipolar radiofrequency renal denervation in patients with hypertension not receiving medications at baseline. ⋯ Future studies of radiofrequency renal denervation must anticipate delayed treatment effects. (Renal Denervation Using the Vessix Renal Denervation System for the Treatment of Hypertension [REDUCE HTN: REINFORCE]; NCT02392351).

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study Comparative Study1-Year Outcomes of Delayed Versus Immediate Intervention in Patients With Transient ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction.
The aim of the present study was to determine the effect of a delayed versus an immediate invasive approach on final infarct size and clinical outcome up to 1 year. ⋯ At follow-up, patients with transient STEMI have limited infarction and well-preserved myocardial function in general, and delayed or immediate revascularization has no effect on functional outcome and clinical events up to 1 year.

Multicenter StudyClinical Implication of Quantitative Flow Ratio After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for 3-Vessel Disease.
The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of post-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) quantitative flow ratio (QFR) on clinical outcomes in patients with de novo 3-vessel disease (3VD) treated with contemporary PCI. ⋯ A higher post-PCI QFR value is associated with improved vessel-related clinical outcomes in state-of-the art PCI practice for de novo 3VD. Achieving a post-PCI QFR value ≥0.91 in all treated vessels should be a target when treating de novo 3VD. These findings require confirmation in future prospective trials.

Multicenter StudyPrognostic Value of QFR Measured Immediately After Successful Stent Implantation: The International Multicenter Prospective HAWKEYE Study.
The aim of this study was to investigate the potential role of post-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) quantitative flow ratio (QFR) measurements to predict clinical outcomes in patients with successful PCI. ⋯ Lower values of QFR after complete and successful revascularization predict subsequent adverse events (Angio-Based Fractional Flow Reserve to Predict Adverse Events After Stent Implantation [HAWKEYE]; NCT02811796).

Multicenter Study Comparative StudyOutcomes Following Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement for Degenerative Stentless Versus Stented Bioprostheses.
A large comprehensive analysis of transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) was performed for failed stentless bioprostheses. ⋯ Stentless ViV-TAVR is associated with greater periprocedural complications (initial device malposition, second transcatheter device, coronary obstruction, paravalvular leak), but no difference in 30-day and 1-year outcome.
