The role that inflammation plays in the development of prostate cancer is unknown. Cataract is the leading cause of blindness and impaired vision worldwide; however, cataract surgery rate in China (1300 cases per million people per year) is lower than in Europe, America, and India (greater than 5000 cases per million people per year). In the past 10 years, a public health screening system has been established for early diagnosis and intervention of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension by the Disease Control and Prevention Centers (CDC) of China. The measurement of quality-adjusted life-years (QALYs) forms a key component of cost-utility evaluation in cancer intervention; however, detailed data for utility weights by cancer type and health status are still scarce both in China and other regions. The aim of this study was to systematically evaluate utility scores in relation to the most common six cancers in China in 2012 (lung, breast, colorectal, oesophageal, liver, and stomach cancer). ⋯ The National Health and Family Plan Committee of China.

According to Chinese medicinal literature, Euphorbia Pekinensis and Glycyrrhiza should not be used together because of their antagonistic actions. However, increasing experimental and clinical evidence show that they exhibit synergistic or antagonistic actions when used together in different combinations. Medical economic burden of the ageing population: a multistage sampling analysis of 3 532 517 cases.
Population ageing and the economic burden of aged disease have become topical issues in global health. The situation seems worse in China, which has 140 million people older than 65 years.
