The COVID-19 pandemic had a negative impact on cancer services and will have likely led to delayed early detection and diagnosis. In response, the Irish Cancer Society (ICS) planned and delivered seven cancer roadshow events run on 15 days across seven shopping centres in four deprived areas based on Trinity National Deprivation Index, 2016, in Limerick, Cork, Waterford and Dublin regions in Ireland to educate and promote awareness about cancer signs and symptoms, importance of screening, positive lifestyle changes, and encourage medical care-seeking behaviour. ⋯ Irish Cancer Society.

In 2019, the UK lost its WHO measles-free status, due to circulating measles virus and suboptimal coverage with the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine. The National Health Service (NHS) schedule recommends MMR vaccines at age 12 and 40 months. In England in 2020-21, MMR coverage did not meet the 95% target for herd immunity. This work is part of a project to develop a vaccination intervention delivered in the paediatric emergency department (PED). The aim of this study was to quantify unmet MMR-related vaccination need among PED attendees. ⋯ None.

Despite increased focus on adolescence, young people's voices are often undervalued and underrepresented in inequalities research. Through exploring young people's perceptions of health and inequality, we might understand how public health interventions can be more effective and equitable. Engaging with youth through art enables self-expression on these complex and sensitive topics. This qualitative project aimed to explore young people's perceptions of their health, inequality, and their aspirations within the Bristol context to inform local policy and everyday practice for adolescent health. ⋯ The University of Bristol, Wellcome Trust.

Stigma can be experienced as perceived or actual disqualification from social and institutional acceptance on the basis of one or more physical, health-related, behavioural, or other attributes deemed to be undesirable. Long COVID is a predominantly multisystem condition that occurs in people with a history of SARS-CoV-2 infection, often resulting in functional disability, which limits day-to-day activities. We aimed to quantify the burden of stigma experienced in a community-based sample of people with lived experience of long COVID. ⋯ None.
