Congenital high airway obstruction syndrome (CHAOS) is defined as complete or partial obstruction of the fetal upper airways. Laryngeal atresia is the most frequent cause. ⋯ In summary, a multidisciplinary team including otolaryngologists, radiologists, obstetricians, and anesthesiologists must be present during the whole diagnosis and treatment process.

Sudden cardiac death due to the Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome: A case report with genetic analysis.
The Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW) is a benign heart disease with accessory pathways, which can result in cardiac arrhythmias. The purpose of this case report is to introduce a rare case of sudden cardiac death (SCD) with a mild myocardial bridge and a history of WPW. ⋯ This case highlights SCD can occur in WPW patients with mild or unrecognized structural abnormality. Postmortem genetic examination can assist the diagnosis of sudden cardiac death, especially when no lethal structural abnormality is found in the decedent.

Primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI) with immediate stenting provides effective revascularization. While the risks of no-reflow, stent thrombosis, stent undersizing, and malapposition reduced the benefits in patients with high burden thrombosis. Intravascular imaging, especially optical coherence tomography (OCT), offers potential in optimization of percutaneous coronary intervention. ⋯ OCT may be useful imaging modality to identify the characteristic of culprit lesion of acute myocardial infarction and subsequently guide individual treatment.

Carpal tunnel syndrome caused by synovial osteochondromatosis of the finger flexor tendon: A case report.
Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the most common peripheral nerve neuropathy resulting from compression of the median nerve as it traverses the carpal tunnel. The pathophysiology of this condition is multifactorial, and majority of cases of CTS are idiopathic. We report cases of CTS caused by synovial osteochondromatosis (SOC), which has rarely been reported. ⋯ CTS due to SOC on finger flexor tendon is rare but should be considered for possible etiology. Appropriate clinical examination, plain radiography, ultrasonography, and MRI will help physicians to diagnose this condition. In this paper, we report the successful diagnosis and treatment of CTS caused by SOC within the finger flexor tendon.

Minimally invasive surgery for inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor of the urinary bladder: Three case reports.
Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors of the urinary bladder (IMTUB) is exceptionally rare. Currently, no standardized treatment has been established for IMTUBs. ⋯ Bladder-sparing treatment by TURBT or partial cystectomy remains the main mode of treatment for IMTUB. Laparoscopic and robot-assisted laparoscopic approach is safe and may yield satisfactory oncological and functional results. Regular follow-up protocol is necessary after operation.
