Trends in conjunctivochalasis research from 1986 to 2017: A bibliometric analysis.
With the aging of the population and the use of video terminals, the incidence of Conjunctivochalasis is getting higher, and related research is increasing. So our research aimed to use visualization software to display the research trends of Conjunctivochalasis. ⋯ This research will help relevant clinicians and researchers to accurately and quickly grasp the research trends in the field, and continue to conduct new research on the basis.

Higher pretreatment lactate dehydrogenase concentration predicts worse overall survival in patients with lung cancer.
The aim of this study was to systematically evaluate the prognostic role of pretreatment lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) concentration for survival in patients with lung cancer through performing a meta-analysis. ⋯ The results suggested that higher pretreatment LDH concentration was associated with worse overall survival in patients with lung cancer. The findings may assist future research on anticancer therapy by targeting LDH and help predict prognosis in lung cancer patients. However, high-quality studies are required to further research and support these associations. Moreover, confounding factors such as patient ethnicity and tumor type should be considered in future studies.

Whole-body vibration exercise for low back pain: A meta-analysis protocol of randomized controlled trial.
Low back pain (LBP) affects about 80% of the population at some time in their lives. Exercise therapy is the most widely used nonsurgical intervention for low back pain in practice. Thus, whole-body vibration (WBV) exercise is becoming increasingly popular in relieving musculoskeletal pain and in improving function. However, the efficacy of WBV exercise is not without dispute for low back pain. This meta-analysis, with its comprehensive and rigorous methodology, will provide better insight into this problem. ⋯ This meta-analysis will provide a detailed summary of the evidence on the effects of WBV exercise on patients with LBP, in comparison with general exercise or without treatment. This review will benefit to researchers and policy makers who are interested in the treatment of LBP by WBV exercise.

The association between rs12885713 polymorphism in CALM1 and risk of osteoarthritis: A meta-analysis of case-control studies.
The single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs12885713 of calmodulin 1 gene (CALM1) has been reported to involve in the etiology of osteoarthritis (OA) in several association studies with limited sample size and conflicting results. The purpose of the present systematic review and meta-analysis was to evaluate and synthesize the currently available data on the correlation between rs12885713 and OA susceptibility. ⋯ Based on the findings of our present study, the rs12885713 polymorphism of CALM1 did not appear to be associated with OA predisposition.

Prosthesis satisfaction in lower limb amputees: A systematic review of associated factors and questionnaires.
Factors influencing patient satisfaction with a transtibial prosthesis have been studied fragmentarily. The aims of this systematic review were to review the literature regarding factors of influence on patient satisfaction with a transtibial prosthesis, to report satisfaction scores, to present an overview of questionnaires used to assess satisfaction and examine how these questionnaires operationalize satisfaction. ⋯ Relevance of certain factors for satisfaction was related to specific amputee patient groups. Questionnaires assessing satisfaction use different operationalizations, making comparisons between studies difficult.
