The infiltration of tumor cells to pulmonary lymphatic system, as known as pulmonary lymphangitis carcinomatosis (PLC), is a rare presentation of pulmonary metastases. ⋯ 18F-FDG PET/CT play an important role in identifying PLC, in selecting possible biopsy sites, and in accessing the extent of metastatic disease.

The clinical and genetic characteristics of nephrogenic diabetes insipidus (NDI) were described via assessing 2 cases of NDI patients from a Chinese family. ⋯ A mutation in AVPR2 was discovered to be associated with NID. It provides a new target for molecular diagnosis of NDI, enabling families to undergo genetic counseling and obtain prenatal diagnoses.

Obstetric and perinatal outcomes of intracytoplasmic sperm injection for infertile men with Y chromosome microdeletions.
To evaluate the safety of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) for men with Y chromosome azoospermia factor (AZF) microdeletions. ⋯ Men with AZF microdeletions can achieve the delivery of healthy children using ICSI. In this series, it produced good implantation rate and obstetric and perinatal outcomes.

Vascular dementia (VaD) is the second prevalent dementia worldwide attributable to cognitive impairments. Acupuncture has been applied in clinic as a therapeutic modality to treat VaD. This systematic review and meta-analysis aims to evaluate current evidence to explore the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture treatment to cognitive impairment of VaD. ⋯ The summary of our systematic review will determine whether acupuncture intervention to VaD is safe and well-tolerated in global status.

Autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) separation technology has been widely used in various clinical therapies, and has achieved good results, especially in aortic surgeries. ⋯ PRP separation technology combined with blood salvage and warming of blood and fluid transfusion in the aortic surgery has been proved to be feasible and beneficial.
