The infection of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is 1 of the major causes of morbidity and mortality in the world. People with chronic diseases have a higher risk of depression. The HIV people are more likely to suffer from depression. Appropriate psychosocial interventions are effective, but their accessibility is limited by the resources needed for their transmission. Thus, it makes sense to develop more cost-effective alternatives, for instance the web-based intervention (WBI), which may be effective for the well-being and depression. The aim of our program is to explore the effects of a WBI on depressive symptoms and well-being in HIV-infected patients. ⋯ HIV infected patients can benefit from WBI, which can be utilized as an adjunct to medical treatment.

Adenoma detection rate is not influenced by the time of day in computer-aided detection colonoscopy.
Because of endoscopist fatigue, the time of colonoscopy have been shown to influence adenoma detection rate (ADR). Computer-aided detection (CADe) provides simultaneous visual alerts on polyps during colonoscopy and thus to increase adenoma detection rate. This is attributable to the strengthening of endoscopists diagnostic level and alleviation of fatigue. ⋯ Multivariable analysis shows that the ADR of CADe colonoscopy was influenced by the age (P < .001), gender (P = .004) and withdrawal time (P < .001), no correlation was found regarding bowel preparation (P = .993) and endoscopist experience (P = .804). CADe colonoscopy could eliminate the influence of the afternoon fatigue on ADR. The ADR during CADe colonoscopy is significantly affected by age, gender and withdrawal time.

Clinical characteristics and viral shedding kinetics of 38 asymptomatic patients with coronavirus disease 2019: A retrospective observational study.
This study aims to investigate the clinical characteristics and viral shedding kinetics of asymptomatic patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The data of 38 asymptomatic patients positive for SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid were collected from February to March 2020 in Tuanfeng County, Huanggang, Hubei, China. The epidemiology, laboratory examination, chest imaging, viral nucleic acid test results, clinical characteristics, and viral shedding time were summarized in this retrospective study. ⋯ Chest imaging did not show any pneumonia manifestation. The viral shedding time was <10 days, which is shorter than that of patients with COVID-19. A timely discovery of such asymptomatic infections is crucial for blocking the spread of the virus and strengthening the prevention and control measures.

In about 15% to 20% of breast cancer cases, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) over-expression or gene-amplification is associated with poor prognosis. Thanks to the development of target therapies, HER2 positive patients can be managed using HER2-targeting drugs. There are several kinds ofHER2 inhibitors, such as trastuzumab, lapatinib, and pyrotinib. Pyrotinib which exert different functions, of note, the latest generation of the drug, is an irreversible small-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) (HER1) and/or HER2 and/or HER4. Both lapatinib and pyrotinib potentially target EGFR and/or HER2, but in some instances, induces different responses of patients with EGFR and/or HER2 mutations. This is attributed to the different mutations in EGFR and HER2 genes, which may form distinct types of HER2 dimers, with different binding capacities to drugs. ⋯ This case report demonstrates that EGFR-ZNF880 fusion and EGFR E114K mutations may contribute or lead to the formation of a special HER2 dimer, which is rapidly resistant to lapatinib but sensitive to pyrotinib. Of note, this is the first report that such a new fusion has been found.
