Meta Analysis
The diagnostic value of miRNA-141 in prostate cancer: A systematic review and PRISMA-compliant meta-analysis.
miR-141 has gradually demonstrated its value in the diagnosis of prostate cancer. However, the diagnostic parameters in previous studies differ. A systematic review was conducted to explore the diagnostic value of miR-141 in prostate cancer. ⋯ This meta-analysis suggests that miR-141 has a high diagnostic value for prostate cancer. In the future, large-scale prospective studies are needed to verify and evaluate this result.

Review Case Reports
Case report of a familial triple: a syndrome and review of the literature.
Triple-A syndrome, or Allgrove syndrome (AS), is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by the alacrimia, achalasia, and adrenal insufficiency triad. Alacrimia usually starts at early infancy, while achalasia and adrenal insufficiency appear later during childhood or adulthood. Some patients may also present with the so-called Double-A syndrome (i.e., alacrimia and achalasia, or alacrimia and adrenal insufficiency); adrenal insufficiency usually represents a life-threatening event due to severe hypoglycemia. Many patients may also present other associated manifestations, such as neurological disorders. We describe, here, 2 sisters of non-consanguineous parents. ⋯ AS is a rare multisystemic disorder. The longer diagnosis is delayed, the greater extent to which this syndrome may be life-threatening, mainly because of hypoglycemia due to adrenal insufficiency. In AS, the red-flag symptom of alacrimia should instigate investigation for achalasia, Addison disease, and achalasia, addisonianism, alacrimia syndrome gene mutation.

Review Case Reports
Clinical manifestation of non-ketotic hyperglycemia chorea: A case report and literature review.
Chorea is considered a special complication of diabetes mellitus. Here we report a case of chorea associated with non-ketotic hyperglycemia (NKH). ⋯ NKH chorea is a special complication of diabetes.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study
Proximal versus distal adductor canal blocks for total knee arthroplasty: A protocol for randomized controlled trial.
Currently, there remains a paucity of literature about the efficiency of proximal adductor canal block (PACB) versus distal adductor canal block (DACB) for pain management after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The purpose of this study is to perform a randomized controlled trial to compare the efficiency of PACB versus DACB for early postoperative pain treatment after TKA. ⋯ This clinical trial is expected to provide evidence of whether the PACB and DACB provide similar analgesia after TKA.
