Review Case Reports
First-line albumin-bound paclitaxel/carboplatin plus apatinib in advanced pulmonary sarcomatoid carcinoma: A case series and review of the literature.
Pulmonary sarcomatoid carcinoma (PSC) is an uncommon type of non-small cell lung cancer, exhibiting aggressive behavior and resistance to the conventional chemoradiotherapy. To date, the optimal treatment for PSC has not been elucidated. ⋯ Nab-paclitaxel/carboplatin plus apatinib showed limited short-term efficacy in advanced, unresectable PSC. The rapid resistance of PSC to the current therapeutic regimen necessitates further researches, as more effective agents are urgently needed.

Pretreatment C-reactive protein/albumin ratio for predicting overall survival in pancreatic cancer: A meta-analysis.
Inconsistent findings have been reported regarding the association of C-reactive protein to albumin ratio (CAR) with survival outcome in patients with pancreatic cancer. We conducted the current meta-analysis to assess the prognostic utility of elevated baseline CAR in predicting overall survival (OS) in pancreatic cancer patients. ⋯ Elevated pretreatment CAR may independently predict poor OS in pancreatic cancer patients. Pretreatment CAR is possibly a simple and cost-effective blood-derived indicator for predicting survival outcome in patients with pancreatic cancer.

Although previous studies have reported that levocetirizine is utilized for the treatment of children with allergic rhinitis (AR), its conclusions remain inconsistent. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and harms of levocetirizine for children with AR. ⋯ INPLASY202040111.

Prognostic and clinical implications of c-erbB-2 expression in patients with oral cancer: A meta-analysis.
Recently, many studies have suggested that the aberrant expression of c-erbB-2 existed in oral cancer (OC) patients and had a correlation with poor clinical features across OC patients. Considering the inconsistent results among published articles, we performed the meta-analysis to assess the prognostic and clinical effect of c-erbB-2 expression on oral tumors. ⋯ c-erbB-2 may be a potential indicator in the prediction of prognosis and clinicopathological features in OC patients.

Treatment of solitary hepatocellular carcinoma up to 2 cm: A PRISMA-compliant systematic review and meta-analysis.
In recent years, there has been considerable uncertainty about the optimal treatment option for very early hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with tumor size less than 2 cm. Therefore, we performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the outcomes of the different treatments. ⋯ Our meta-analysis demonstrated that LR is superior to RFA in the treatment of solitary HCC up to 2 cm, with reduction in mortality and recurrence risk and improved long-term outcome.
