Efficacy and safety of acupuncture for senile insomnia: A protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis.
Senile insomnia seriously affects the quality of life of the elderly. With the increase of the proportion of insomnia in the elderly, compared with the elderly with normal sleep quality, the elderly with long-term insomnia are more likely to have dizziness, fatigue, and decreased immunity. Acupuncture has shown good effects in the treatment of insomnia. At present, there is a lack of systematic review on acupuncture in the treatment of senile insomnia. We conduct this study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupuncture in the treatment of senile insomnia. ⋯ INPLASY202160106.

Knee osteoarthritis (OA) is a major public health concern causing chronic disability as well as a substantial burden on health care and the economy. However, effective treatments for knee OA were still not available. Numerous clinical studies have suggested that Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) seems to be clinically effective in treating knee OA. Thus, this study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of CHM in the treatment of knee OA through a systematic review and network meta-analysis. ⋯ This study protocol has been registered on INPLASY202160060.

Meta Analysis
Efficacy of Xpert MTB/RIF Ultra in diagnosing tuberculosis meningitis: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
This study aimed to assess whether Xpert MTB/RIF Ultra (Xpert Ultra) can effectively diagnose tuberculosis meningitis (TBM) and to simultaneously compare its effectiveness with Xpert in diagnosing TBM in the same population. ⋯ Xpert Ultra was more sensitive than Xpert, but both were specific (100%). Therefore, Xpert Ultra had an excellent diagnostic efficacy for TBM, and it could be the preferred initial test for TBM.

Meta Analysis Comparative Study
Comparison of the efficacy and safety indicators of DMARDs for rheumatoid arthritis: A network meta-analysis.
To compare efficacy and safety indicators of disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs, Sarilumab, Sirukumab, Baricitinib, Tocilizumab and Adalimumab in rheumatoid arthritis treatment by a network meta-analysis. ⋯ The results of the ranking of the 5 drugs showed that Tocilizumab and Sarilumab had the best efficacy and safety.

Randomized Controlled Trial
Effects of depth of neuromuscular blockade on the BIS-guided propofol requirement: A randomized controlled trial.
Deep neuromuscular blockade is considered beneficial for improving the surgical space condition during laparoscopic surgery. Adequacy of the surgical space condition may affect the anesthetists' decision regarding titration of depth of anesthesia. We investigated whether deep neuromuscular blockade reduces the propofol requirement under bispectral index monitoring compared to moderate neuromuscular blockade. ⋯ Deep neuromuscular blockade did not reduce the bispectral index-guided propofol requirement compared to moderate neuromuscular blockade during laparoscopic colon surgery, despite reducing movement of the patient and the requirement for a rescue neuromuscular blocking agent.
