Oncogenic microRNAs, a kind of stable epigenetic inhibitors, often deregulated in Mycosis fungoides (MF) which affect the skin and tend to transform and spread. ⋯ Taken together, these studies demonstrate that microRNA may be used as the prognosis, progression and diagnose of MF, as they can not only control MF cell proliferation, but also induce MF cell apoptosis.

In recent years, clinical studies have found that there is a close relationship between osteoporosis and polycystic ovary syndrome. However, there are few literature on the pathogenesis of osteoporosis and polycystic ovary syndrome. In order to clarify their common pathogenic mechanism and provide potential targets for drugs to regulate them at the same time, bioinformatics methods are used to explore, so as to provide a new direction for the study of the relationship between diseases in the future. ⋯ There is a close relationship between osteoporosis and polycystic ovary syndrome in terms of target and molecular mechanism. This study used bioinformatics to clarify their targets and mechanisms, providing potential targets for drugs to regulate both diseases simultaneously and providing new directions to explore the relationship between the diseases.

Concepts surrounding the mechanisms of thrombocytopenia in ITP have shifted from the traditional view of autoantibody mediated platelet destruction to more complex mechanisms in which impaired platelet production, T-cell-mediated effects, and disturbed cytokine profiles play a role. Interleukin 27 (IL-27) plays pleiotropic roles in immunomodulation and autoimmune diseases. We aimed to determine the level of IL-27 in patients with ITP and its relationship to patient and disease characteristics as well as disease chronicity and response to treatment. ⋯ Patients who received Eltrombopag had significantly lower IL-27 levels than others. IL-27 seems to play a role in pathogenesis of childhood ITP. IL-27 can be used as a predictor for disease occurrence as well as responsiveness to treatment.

Meta Analysis
Impact of shift work on irritable bowel syndrome and functional dyspepsia: A meta-analysis.
The possible association between shift work with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and functional dyspepsia (FD) remains controversial. The purpose of the study is to conduct a meta-analysis to explore the potential association between shift work with IBS/FD. ⋯ There was a positive association between shift work and IBS. The prevalence of IBS was 81% higher among shift workers than among non-shift workers. Shift work was probably a risk factor for IBS. The low heterogeneity supports the reliability of the results. However, there was no significant association between shift work and FD. The strength of the evidence was limited and further prospective cohort studies were needed.

To compare the efficacy of adductor canal block and femoral nerve block for pain management in patients with anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. ⋯ Adductor canal block shows similar and adequate analgesia compared to the femoral nerve block in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and adductor canal block can preserve a higher quadriceps strength and better range of motion.
