Review Case Reports
Floating-dislocated elbow in adults: Case reports and literature review.
Floating-dislocated elbow is a severe and extremely rare injury in adults. Reviewing the literature, we found around 6 case reports regarding floating-dislocated elbow in adults. ⋯ In addition to adding 2 new cases to a lower number of such lesion associations in adults, we also added a new variant of floating-dislocated elbow which has not been reported until now in the literature. Prompt management of these injuries, with stable fixation of the fractures allowed for early rehabilitation with excellent 2-years functional outcome.

Meta Analysis
A meta-analysis of intravenous thrombolysis versus bridging therapy for ischemic stroke.
The purpose of this study was to perform a pooled analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCT) of intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) versus bridging therapy of intravenous thrombolysis and mechanical thrombectomy (IVMT), comparing the efficacy and safety of the two in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS). ⋯ This study confirms that IVMT is more effective and safe than IVT alone in patients with AIS. However, more and higher-quality randomized clinical trials comparing IVMT to IV alone are warranted for validation.

Meta Analysis
The safety and efficacy of melatonin in the treatment of COVID-19: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
As an infectious disease caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), the common signs of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath, and dyspnea, with multiple organ injuries in severe cases. Therefore, finding drugs to prevent and treat COVID-19 is urgently needed and expected by the public. Several studies suggested beneficial effects of melatonin for the relevant prevention and treatment. To explore the effect and safety of melatonin in the treatment and provide theoretical support and reference for seeking the most suitable drug for COVID-19, the meta-analysis was carried out accordingly. ⋯ The meta-analysis showed that melatonin had the beneficial effects for COVID-19 prevention and treatment as an adjunctive agent in combination with basic treatment for the treatment.

Randomized Controlled Trial
Cervical and scapula-focused resistance exercise program versus trapezius massage in patients with chronic neck pain: A randomized controlled trial.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of resistance exercise in comparison with those of common exercise on chronic neck pain (CNP) to provide useful clinical guidelines for reducing pain or increasing cervical range of motion (ROM), upper trapezius tone, disability level, and quality of life (QOL). ⋯ These results suggest that the CSRE program is effective in improving pain, cervical ROM, upper trapezius tone, disability level, and QOL in patients with CNP. More comprehensive studies with longer follow-up durations are needed to better understand the potential effects of the CSRE program in patients with CNP.

Thymic epithelial tumors (TETs) originate in the thymic epithelial cell, including thymoma and thymic carcinoma. Surgical resection is the first choice for most patients. However, some studies have shown that the factors affecting the prognosis of these patients are not consistent. To evaluate prognostic factors in patients with surgically resected thymic epithelial tumors, we performed a meta-analysis. ⋯ For patients with TETs after surgical resection, advanced age, incomplete resection, WHO classification B2/B3, and higher Masaoka stage are risk factors for poor prognosis.
