Extensive endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for gastric adenoma or early cancer can lead to post-ESD stenosis. This may cause a decrease in quality of life and an increase in medical issues. Therefore, this study examined the safety and effectiveness of gastric open peroral endoscopic myotomy (GO-POEM) in preventing stenosis following ESD. ⋯ In contrast, 5 of 11 patients with stenosis in the non-GO-POEM group required a median of 2 EBD sessions (range, 1-8). GO-POEM may be an effective and reliable method for preventing stenosis post extensive gastric ESD. Further investigations are necessary to establish its efficacy and safety.

To examine the impact of stepwise speech rehabilitation exercise therapy in the treatment of patients with Parkinson speech problems under psychological intervention on clinical results and cognitive functioning. Parkinson speech disorder patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group for training respectively. The control group used conventional nursing methods, including training in orofacial movement, vocalization, pitch, volume and breath control. ⋯ Both groups displayed an upward trend in their MMSE and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) when measuring cognitive function; the evaluation of P300, constructive function, and quality of life revealed this. The observation group P300 potential score was 0.13 points higher than that of the control group. The therapeutic training of stepped speech rehabilitation exercise care combined with psychological intervention has significant nursing effects on patients with Parkinson disease speech disorders, and the patients' cognitive functions have been effectively improved.

Most women hesitate to seek help from healthcare providers as they find it difficult to share complaints of involuntary leakage or vaginal prolapse. Hence, they often refer to the websites of national and/or international bodies' patient education materials (PEMs), which are considered the most reliable sources. The crucial factor that determines their usefulness is their readability level, which makes them "easy" or "difficult" to read, and is recommended, not to exceed the sixth grade level. ⋯ No significant differences were found among the PEM groups in terms of readability parameters and assessment methods (P > .05). Whether original or translated, international or national societies' PEMs' readability scores were above the recommended level of sixth grade. Thus, the development of PEMs needs to be revised accordingly by relevant authorities.

To explore the effective ingredients and mechanisms of action in Hedyotis diffusa (HD) that have inhibitory effects on androgen receptors (AR) using molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations (MDS). The effective ingredients of HD were collected through Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform database and literatures. All components were docked with AR using Libdock. ⋯ The binding energy between AR and MOL001656 was -29.33 ± 3.84 kcal/mol. HD contains multiple effective ingredients that may have inhibitory AR activity. MOL001656 can occupy binding sites, thereby may exerting AR inhibitory effects.

The research aims to explore the intervention effect of cluster nursing methods on bacterial pneumonia in stroke patients in neurology. A retrospective analysis is conducted on 120 patients diagnosed with stroke in the hospital from 2020 to 2022, who are diagnosed as stroke patients in the neurology department by doctors. 120 patients are randomly separated into a control group (CG) and a research group (RG) for the experiment, with 60 people in each group. The CG receive normal nursing; The RG adopt cluster nursing methods. ⋯ At the beginning of the 3rd month, the satisfaction rates of the RG and the CG were (92.33 ± 1.17)% and (78.18 ± 1.07)%, respectively, and there was P < .0.05 between the 2 groups of data. The cluster nursing strategy has a significant relieving effect on bacterial pneumonia in stroke patients in the neurology department, which can effectively reduce the probability of pneumonia, improve their physical condition, and enhance their quality of life. It has certain clinical application value.
