The purpose to the present study is to research the association between age at surgery and survival outcomes of patients with sarcoma in head and neck. Twenty-six patients with head and neck sarcoma who underwent by surgery from 2003 to 2017 were enrolled in the present observation study. Patients who did not undergo chemotherapy were significantly older age at surgery by Mann-Whitney U test. ⋯ Shorter survival rates of overall, disease-specific, local recurrence-free and disease-free were associated with older age by log-rank test. Age (≥55 years/<55 years) was correlated with shorter overall survival by multivariate analysis of Cox's proportional hazards model adjusting with chemotherapy (absence/presence). In conclusion, older age predicts worse overall survival in head and neck sarcoma.

Examining the impact of randomized control intervention on depressive symptoms in schoolchildren with atypical behaviors.
The need to investigate depression among disadvantaged groups motivated this study. This study investigated the impacts of rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) on depressive symptoms in schoolchildren with atypical behaviors in Enugu State Nigeria. ⋯ Following the outcomes, we concluded that REBT is a long-term efficacious intervention for treating depressive symptoms in schoolchildren with atypical behaviors in Enugu State Nigeria regardless of location and gender.

Giant cell tumor of bone is a locally aggressive and rarely metastasizing neoplasm that typically affects the ends of long bones or the axial skeleton of young to middle-aged adults. As many as 69% to 100% of giant cell tumors harbor H3F3A gene mutations, while H3F3B gene mutations have rarely been reported. ⋯ Giant cell tumor of bone with H3F3B gene mutations is extremely rare. In the pathological diagnosis of bone tumors, we need to analyze clinical presentation, imaging features, histology, immunophenotype, and cytogenetic/molecular alterations, in order to get a correct diagnosis.

Metabotropic glutamate receptor 5 (mGluR5)-related autoimmune encephalitis (AE) has been rarely reported; however, there are no reports on mGluR5-related AE with reversible splenial lesion syndrome following vaccination against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). ⋯ AE with mGluR5 antibodies could arise from SARS-CoV-2 vaccination, which warrants the awareness of healthcare workers. Reversible splenial lesion syndrome may accompany mGluR5-related AE and mimic intracranial infection. Thus, early treatment can prevent serious residual signs and symptoms.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors have been rapidly developed for lung cancer therapy and major clinical guidelines have recommended them as the optimal first-line treatment for PD-L1-positive advanced lung cancer. Unfortunately, there is a lack of efficient prediction tools for the occurrence of immune-related adverse events (irAEs) caused by immunotherapy, and there is a lack of real-world data on the processing of irAEs, particularly those occurring in multiple systems simultaneously. ⋯ Camrelizumab has been well tolerated in several studies, but in patients with high PD-L1 expression and a G12D mutation in KRAS, one should be alert to the development of serious or even multisystem immune-related adverse effects. Timely and individualized selection of the hormone dosage is essential for the treatment of immunotherapy-induced multisystem irAEs.
