Studies of most-cited articles have been frequently conducted on various topics and in various medical fields. To date, no study has examined the characteristics of articles associated with theme classifications and research achievements of article entities related to nursing resilience. This study aims to graphically depict the characteristics of the 100 top-cited articles addressing nurse resilience (T100NurseR), diagram the relationship between articles and author collaborations according to themes extracted from article keywords, and examine whether article keywords are correlated with article citations. ⋯ We present diagrams to guide evidence-based clinical decision-making in nurse resilience based on the characteristics of the T100NurseR articles. Article citations can be predicted using weighted keywords. Future bibliographical studies may apply the 5 visualizations to relevant studies, not being solely restricted to T100NurseR.

To systematically evaluate the clinical risk factors of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) complicated with invasive fungal infection (IFI) among patients. ⋯ Our results indicate that immunosuppressant, glucocorticoids, systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index score, antibiotic were risk factors for IFI in SLE patients. However, high quality of multicenter, large sample size-controlled trials are needed to validate the result.

This is the first review about obstetric involvement in mitochondrial disorders (MIDs). The purpose of the review was to discuss recent advances and knowledge about the type and frequency of obstetric complications in MIDs. A narrative review for preferred reporting items was performed in MEDLINE, Current Contents, EMBASE, Web of Science, Web of Knowledge, LILACS, SCOPUS, and Google Scholar. ⋯ MIDs can be associated with various obstetric complications. Some of these complications are more common in pregnant females with MID compared with healthy pregnant females. Obstetricians should be aware of MIDs and should know that pregnant females with a MID have an increased risk of developing complications during pregnancy or delivery.

Association between thyroid dysfunction and venous thromboembolism: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Thyroid dysfunction plays an important role in the development of cardiovascular disease. However, its relationship with venous thromboembolism (VTE) remains unclear. We performed a meta-analysis of published cohort and case-control studies to investigate the association between thyroid dysfunction and VTE comprehensively. ⋯ Patients with thyroid dysfunction have an increased risk of VTE. Therefore, it is recommended to perform thyroid function screening routinely in patients at high risk of VTE.

This study aimed to evaluate the clinical efficacy of minimally invasive puncture and drainage (MIPD) versus trepanation and drainage in the treatment of chronic subdural hematoma (CSDH). ⋯ Compared with trepanation and drainage, MIPD has better clinical effects and higher safety in treating CSDH and can effectively reduce surgery-induced damage, which is worth popularizing in clinical practice.
