One of the main causes of death is out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA), which has a poor prognosis and poor neurological outcomes. This phenomenon has attracted increasing attention. However, there is still no published bibliometric analysis of OHCA. ⋯ The research frontier identification revealed that 7 categories were classified, including therapeutic hypothermia, emergency medical services, airway management, myocardial infarction, extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation, stroke foundation and trial. The burst detection analysis revealed that percutaneous coronary intervention, neurologic outcome, COVID-19 and extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation are issues that should be given continual attention in the future. This bibliometric analysis may reflect the current status and future frontiers of OHCA research.

Novel-fosfamides (NFOs) belong to active metabolites of ifosfamide that bypass the generation of toxic byproducts. In this analysis, we aimed to comprehensively assess the benefits and risks of NFO monotherapy or in combination with doxorubicin (DOX) versus single-drug DOX in previously untreated patients with advanced soft-tissue sarcoma (ASTS). ⋯ Adding NFO to DOX as first-line therapy improved the responses in ASTS patients but did not prolong OS and PFS. Grade 3 or worse treatment-related adverse events should be treated with caution during the NFO-based therapies.

Observational Study
Effect of surgery on sensory eye balance in patients with intermittent exotropia: An observational study.
To evaluate the impact of strabismus surgery on sensory eye balance in patients with intermittent exotropia (IXT). In total, 112 IXT patients with ocular alignment at the first strabismus surgery and 34 controls were enrolled from January 2015 to December 2016 in this retrospective study. The effective contrast ratio (ECR) of non-dominant eyes was measured by binocular phase combination paradigm before and 3 months after surgery, and the degree of sensory eye balance was quantitatively evaluated and compared between IXT patients and controls. ⋯ In addition, the postoperative ECR was significantly higher than the preoperative ECR (P < .001). The ECR change was not correlated with age orstrabismus degree measured with a6 m accommodative target (both P > .05), while significant negative correlation was observed between the ECR change and strabismus degree measured with a 33 cm accommodative target (P = .002). Strabismus surgery can significantly reduce the degree of sensory eye imbalance in patients with IXT, while further treatment aimed at rebalancing the ocular dominance might be necessary for more efficient binocular visual processing in the long-term.

Meta Analysis
Efficacy and safety of acupoint application in the treatment of ulcerative colitis: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
The efficacy of acupoint application in the treatment of ulcerative colitis (UC) is still controversial. The purpose of this study is to systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of acupoint application in the treatment of ulcerative colitis. ⋯ Acupoint application is a safe and effective method for the treatment of UC, and has the prospect of clinical application.

The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy of surgical treatment and conservative treatment for cervical spinal cord injury without fracture and dislocation (CSCIWFD) in adults by meta-analysis. ⋯ Surgical treatment can improve the effective rate and JOA score of adult patients with CSCIWFD compared to conservative treatment. This suggests that surgical treatment can significantly improve the patient's spinal cord function.
