Meta Analysis
Efficacy of Baduanjin for treatment of fatigue: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
Numerous studies have suggested that Baduanjin, a traditional Chinese exercise, can alleviate fatigue symptoms in patients with various illnesses. The aim of this review was to evaluate the efficacy of Baduanjin in reducing fatigue symptoms. ⋯ Baduanjin can effectively alleviate fatigue symptoms with relatively flexible requirements. However, studies investigating the same disease types and including non-Chinese populations are scarce. Therefore, further studies with long-term interventions, larger sample sizes, and well-designed methodologies are warranted.

Although planned cesarean delivery (PCD) is the mainstay of management for abnormal placentation, some patients still require emergency cesarean delivery (ECD). We aimed to systematically analyze the impact of various modes of delivery on neonatal outcomes. ⋯ When pregnancies are complicated by abnormal placentation, PCD is linked to noticeably better neonatal outcomes than emergent delivery.

Sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) can be debilitating and is one of the most common otological diseases. Steroids play an important role in its treatment. There are many ways to administer steroids, and the efficacy and safety of different administration routes remain unclear. This meta-analysis aimed to investigate the effect and safety of different types of steroid delivery administration for the treatment of SSNHL. ⋯ Postauricular injection may be safer and more effective treatment than systemic therapy as a treatment for SSNHL.

Tezepelumab is a human thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) antibody with effects in asthma. Therefore, our study aimed to evaluate the overall efficacy and safety of tezepelumab for the treatment of uncontrolled asthma. ⋯ Tezepelumab effectively improved FEV1, reduced the disease symptom score, and decreased the risk of exacerbations in uncontrolled asthma patients. Tezepelumab was associated with some adverse events compared to placebo. This suggests that careful management of adverse events is required if tezepelumab is used to treat asthma patients.
