This study aimed to investigate the research hotspots and global trends of acupuncture in the treatment of headaches from 1974 to 2022. The Web of Science core collection database and literature related to acupuncture for headache treatment were retrieved. The CiteSpace (version 5.1. ⋯ Research trends have mainly focused on acupuncture therapy and its curative effects, migraine without aura, paroxysmal migraine, and the mechanism of acupuncture treatment. The main research hotspots and frontier trends were the therapeutic effect and mechanism of acupuncture for headaches. The mechanism of acupuncture in the treatment of headache mainly focused on the neural mechanism by multimodal MRI.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has less of an impact among the babies and teenagers, than it does on adults as a whole. Children turned out to be less symptomatic during the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) surge worldwide. Researchers discovered the ways of protection by preemptive care, like, treatment, variants, vaccination, social distancing, and cohorting among children as soon as their medical and epidemiological factors were assessed while being exposed to SARS-CoV-2 transmission. ⋯ Therefore, we undertook this narrative review to synthesize the evidence from existing studies to assess the relationship between SARS-CoV-2 infections and MIS-C among Children. We reviewed PubMed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar to find the pertinent scientific papers published in English that were available for such analysis. The main purpose of this article is to present, on this limited topic, a better-comprehended review covering pertinent material and data to be informed on SARS-CoV-2 infections and MIS-C among Children.

Endometriosis (EMT) is a benign and common estrogen-dependent disease. Hormonal therapy improves pain symptoms in most women with EMT. However, in many cases, laparoscopic fertility preservation surgery is considered a common treatment for EMT. The present study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of dienogest, leuprolide, danazol, gestrinone, mifepristone and levonorgestrel intrauterine system (LNG-IUS) in relieving symptoms and delaying the recurrence of EMT cysts after fertility protection surgery. ⋯ For patients after fertility preserving surgery for EMT, the recurrence rate of dienogest was the last place with highest preference. The first rank of dienogest pregnancy was the highest.

Surgical treatment of subchondral osteonecrosis of the humeral head: A case report and literature review.
Osteonecrosis of the humeral head is an uncommon subchondral bone disease with many etiologies, and there is currently no definite evidence to support an optimal surgical treatment plan. We report a case of surgical treatment of left humeral head necrosis. To the best of our knowledge, this is the youngest patient with non-drug-induced humeral head necrosis and the largest collapsed area. ⋯ Non-drug-induced humeral head necrosis is rare. Autologous osteochondral transplantation is currently one of the most mature and effective treatment methods. The short-term curative effect in this patient is satisfactory, but the patient is young and has a large collapsed area, so long-term follow-up is worthwhile.

Nalmefene is an opioid system modulator with antagonist activity at the μ and δ receptors and partial agonist activity at the κ receptor. Previous studies have suggested that nalmefene could improve respiratory function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). However, there is no comprehensive systematic review published regarding the clinical efficacy of nalmefene. ⋯ Nalmefene combined with noninvasive ventilation can significantly improve the blood gas index and lung function in patients with COPD combined with type II respiratory failure.
