Premature ovarian failure (POF), a condition influenced by genetic and immune factors, remains incurable despite years of intensive research and significant efforts. This persisting challenge underscores the urgency to address this escalating health concern. Fortunately, stem cell regenerative medicine has emerged as a promising avenue for developing therapeutic strategies and innovative treatments for POF. ⋯ Additionally, we generated visualizing maps utilizing the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) and PubMed publications. By providing valuable information and references, we aim to enhance the understanding of the challenges involved in translating stem cell regeneration into clinical therapeutic potential for POF. Furthermore, our analysis and findings guide researchers and clinicians, facilitating future collaborative research and clinical intervention efforts.

The effect of predictive nursing on the mental state, compliance and sleep quality of senile cervicitis: An observational study.
To explore the effect of predictive nursing on the mental state, compliance and sleep quality of elderly patients with cervicitis. The clinical data of 96 elderly patients with cervicitis who were admitted to our hospital from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected as the research objects. According to the different treatments, they were divided into a control group and an observation group with 48 cases each. ⋯ The difference was statistically significant (P < .05). Predictive nursing can effectively improve the quality of life and sleep of elderly patients with cervicitis, reduce psychological pressure, improve compliance and sleep quality, and benefit the prognosis and clinical treatment of patients. It has a certain reference value for the nursing of elderly patients with cervicitis.

This study aimed to decipher the interaction between CD26 and caveolin-1, key proteins involved in cell signaling and linked to various diseases. Using computational methods, we predicted their binding conformations and assessed stability through 100 ns molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. We identified two distinct binding conformations (con1 and con4), with con1 exhibiting superior stability. ⋯ These findings offer valuable insights into the binding mechanism, paving the way for new therapeutic strategies. However, further validation is required before clinical application. In summary, we provide a detailed understanding of the CD26 and caveolin-1 interaction, identifying key amino acids and potential modulators, essential for developing targeted therapies.

Progressive increase in vascular access blood flow after percutaneous transluminal angioplasty in patients on hemodialysis.
Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) is the gold standard for treating stenoses with dysfunctional vascular access. Recently, we found that vascular access blood flow (VABF) measured immediately after PTA increased over time without the need for additional procedures in the patients who underwent PTA. Therefore, this study was conducted to confirm an increase in VABF after PTA and identify the factors associated with it. ⋯ In the multivariate analysis, SUA level, balloon catheter diameter, and atrial fibrillation remained independent factors for changes in VABF and percentage change in VABF, respectively. The study identified progressive increases in the VABF after PTA without additional procedures. SUA level, balloon catheter diameter used in PTA, and atrial fibrillation were independently associated with changes in VABF.

Recent studies have found that ferroptosis-related genes (FRGs) have broad applications in tumor therapy. However, the predictive potential of these genes in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) remains to be fully characterized. We aimed to investigate the FRGs that might be potential targets for LUAD. ⋯ Ferroptosis-related genes DUOX1 and HSD17B11 are of considerable value in the diagnosis of LUAD patients. Their low expression suggests an increased recurrence rate and leads to a decrease in the patient quality of life.
