Meta Analysis
Efficacy and safety of BaitouWeng decoction for ulcerative colitis: A meta-analysis of randomized and controlled trials.
To systematically evaluate the therapeutic effect of BaitouWeng Decoction in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC), evaluate its safety and effectiveness, and provide a reference for clinical medication. ⋯ BaitouWeng Decoction has good efficacy and safety in treating UC. BaitouWeng Decoction improved the symptoms of colitis injury and inhibited inflammatory response. However, more rigorously designed randomized controlled trials with blinding, concealment, and placebo controls should be conducted on Baitouweng decoction to generate higher quality evidence and longer-term studies on sustained benefits are needed.

Acute pancreatitis is the most common complication of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), with an incidence of approximately 9.7% according to some literature reviews. Recent clinical guidelines propose that glyceryl trinitrate (GTN) can reduce the incidence of post-ERCP pancreatitis (PEP). However, currently, no guidelines provide an exact opinion on GTN and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to prevent post-ERCP pancreatitis. ⋯ GTN has a significant benefit in preventing postoperative ERCP pancreatitis (P < .001). And neither GTN nor GTN plus NSAIDs reduces the incidence of non-mild ERCP postoperative pancreatitis. These conclusions need to be confirmed by high-quality randomized controlled studies with multicenter, large samples, and long-term follow-up.

To evaluate the effect of perioperative esketamine administration on postpartum depression in pregnant women undergoing cesarean section. ⋯ Perioperative use of esketamine in pregnant women undergoing cesarean section may reduce postpartum depression and increase intraoperative adverse reactions, but has no significant effect on postoperative adverse reactions.

Meta Analysis
Prediction power of radiomics in early recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Raiomics is an emerging auxiliary diagnostic tool, but there are still differences in whether it can be applied to predict early recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The purpose of this meta-analysis was to systematically evaluate the predictive power of radiomics in the early recurrence (ER) of HCC. ⋯ The imaging method is a reliable method for diagnosing HCC. Radiomics, which is based on medical imaging, has excellent power in predicting the ER of HCC. With the help of radiomics, we can predict the recurrence of HCC after surgery more effectively and provide a useful reference for clinical practice.

Review Case Reports
Epithelioid trophoblastic tumor with lung metastasis: A case report and literature review.
Epithelioid trophoblastic tumor (ETT) is an extremely rare variant of gestational trophoblastic neoplasms (GTNs). The biological behavior and therapeutic schedule of ETT remains to be defined which frequently poses diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. Although ETT is a relatively indolent malignancy tumor, the therapeutic efficacy and survival rate decrease significantly when presented with metastases. The lung is the most common site of ETT metastasis. ⋯ The diagnosis of ETT should be taken into consideration in patients with abnormal vaginal bleeding and low levels of β-hCG. Patients with metastatic disease should be treated with complete surgical resection and intensive combination chemotherapy to maximize the opportunity for cure. Targeted biological agents might be potential therapeutic strategies for chemotherapy-resistant or recurrent patients.
