Ischemic stroke (IS) has a high recurrence rate. Machine learning (ML) models have been developed based on single-modal biochemical tests, and imaging data have been used to predict stroke recurrence. However, the prediction accuracy of these models is not sufficiently high. ⋯ This study proposes the ISGL model can be used simultaneously with MRI and biochemical data to predict IS recurrence. This combination resulted in higher rate of performance than that of the other ML models. Additionally, this study found related risk factors affected recurrence, which can be used to intervene in high-risk patients' recurrence as early as possible and promote the development of secondary prevention of stroke.

Current status and trends of urinary incontinence research in recent 10 years based on VOSviewer visualized analysis: An observational study.
Urinary incontinence (UI) is prevalent and imposes significant social and economic burdens. This study reviews the literature on UI, assesses the current research status, and projects future trends. To visualize and analyze UI-related research, summarize and generalize the knowledge framework of the global UI field, and explore the current state of research and emerging trends, we conducted a comprehensive search of UI-related studies from 2014 to 2024 using the Web of Science Core Collection. ⋯ This study demonstrates that UI research is more advanced in Europe and North America and that Neurourology and Urodynamics is the most influential journal in the field. In addition, epidemiology, treatment, and male UI will continue to be prominent topics. Our study contributes to a more comprehensive understanding of the current state of UI research and provides insights into future research directions in the field.

To explore the clinical efficacy and pharmacological mechanism analysis of Xubi capsule in the treatment of patients with liver and kidney deficiency osteoarthritis (OA). In this single-center retrospective study, 120 patients with liver and kidney deficiency OA admitted to the Hangzhou Fuyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to May 2022 were included, and patients were divided into the intervention group (n = 60) and the control group (n = 60) according to their treatment. The control group was treated with Ibuprofen, while the intervention group was treated with Xubi capsule combined with Ibuprofen. ⋯ A total of 119 gene ontology cellular components were significantly enriched. The combination of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine adopted in this study can effectively treat patients with liver and kidney deficiency OA and relieve the joint pain of patients. In a multicomponent and multitarget approach, the Xubi capsule breaks through the limitations of traditional nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and has good clinical application value.

The aim of this study is to reduce door-to-wire time for ST-elevation myocardial infarction patients undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention through multidisciplinary collaboration. Patients over the age of 18who visited the Foshan Sanshui District People's Hospital between 2018 and 2019 and were diagnosed with STEMI were included in this study. Analyses were performed with patients segregated into a pre-intervention interim period (2018) and a post-intervention period (2019) based on the date of admission. ⋯ Similarly, median door to wire time was shortened from 88.0 minutes to 63.5 minutes (P < .001). During the interim period, 24% of patients had a door to wire time of <60 minutes, compared to 40.67% of patients in the post-intervention period (P = .002). Multidisciplinary collaboration is an important strategy to reduce door to wire time for patients with STEMI, and may be implemented in suitable centers to improve patient care.

Osteosarcoma (OS) is the most common type of malignant bone tumor, that poses a serious threat to the lives and health of children and adolescents. Traditional Chinese medicines (TCM) have gained attention for treating OS because of their potent anti-cancer effects and fewer side effects. It is commonly understood that Gynostemma pentaphyllum (Thunb.) Makino (GP) exhibits inhibitory effects on most tumors. ⋯ Molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations show that a high affinity between quercetin and these targets, especially with the combination of TNF free energy (Δ Gbind) minimum, MM/PBSA and MM/GBSA is 42.85 kcal/mol, respectively, and 45.29 kcal/mol. The active ingredients Rhamnazin and Quercetin in Gypenoylum play a therapeutic role in OS through several key targets and pathways. This study provides ideas and references for further research on drug development.
