Comparative Study
Comparative Effectiveness of Infliximab Versus Adalimumab in Patients with Biologic-Naïve Crohn's Disease.
Direct head-to-head studies comparing the long-term outcomes of infliximab (IFX) to adalimumab (ADA) in Crohn's disease (CD) are sparse. ⋯ Our real-life experience in biologic-naïve CD patients demonstrated that patients started on IFX were more likely to have a harder-to-treat phenotype. Despite that, efficacy end points were similar between both groups. Clinical remission was higher in patients with combination therapy for IFX, but not for those on ADA. This warrants further investigation.

Clinical Effectiveness of Submucosal Injection with Indigo Carmine Mixed Solution for Colon Endoscopic Mucosal Resection.
Submucosal injection with indigo carmine mixed solution can improve the delineation of colorectal neoplasia during endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR). Thus, the aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of submucosal injection with indigo carmine mixed solution during EMR of colorectal neoplasia. ⋯ Submucosal injection with indigo carmine mixed solution did not improve the CRR or macroscopic delineation of EMR of colorectal neoplasias.

Isolated acute terminal ileitis without chronic features of inflammation poses a diagnostic challenge. Few studies have investigated the clinical significance of this entity in patients without history of inflammatory bowel disease. ⋯ Isolated acute terminal ileitis discovered on diagnostic ileocolonoscopy rarely develops to Crohn's disease. Presence of stricturing/narrowing on cross-sectional imaging may predict eventual Crohn's disease development.

Efficacy of Vonoprazan-Based Triple Therapy for Helicobacter pylori Eradication: A Multicenter Study and a Review of the Literature.
Eradication therapies for Helicobacter pylori infection are advancing as new acid inhibitory reagents approved. The aim of this study was to assess the efficacy and safety of vonoprazan-based triple treatment. ⋯ Vonoprazan-based triple therapy was effective and safe for Helicobacter pylori eradication in real-world experience, confirmed by a multicenter study and a review of the pertinent literature.
